I feel the lack of accomplishment creeping up on me, I want a job in the field I studied, I know I have to wait til I get my license but I hate my job so much. I just want to work with people with mental disabilities helping them instead of my job where everyone is incredibly ignorant

This is why tumblr frustrates me because the lack of knowledge that people really have on mental health but they throw things out there.

When a person with a personality disorder (mainly cluster B but I’m sure this can apply to others) reacts in a ‘dramatic’ or ‘over the top way’ that doesn’t mean you can shift the blame of their emotions onto their symptoms and disregard the reason for the actions. If someone with BPD splits on you don’t just say “they have BPD that’s what they do” ASK what you did because, guess what, 90% of the time it’s because someone did something to trigger the reaction
