he knew coming to moonrise towers was a mistake. the other zhentarim had long abandoned the space. rixian had been nervous to travel through the shadow curse without the safety of the lantern, so he had hidden when the battle began.

he wasn't expected to be found. he hadn't expected to be found by the true souls who had come in and made a mess for ketheric to begin with - and he puts his hands up with a nervous smile when sol'rys finds him.

you aren't expecting the contemplative question. it isn't like many people ask to be stolen from, and less make such quiet requests when you give them reminders that you're a thief by trade.

you look quietly at the heirloom blade, the rubies shining like a fresh kill, and consider the question just as Gav had. it was beautiful. it put your own meager weapon to shame in design, but you're shy about potentially taking something cursed.
