Peacock I made out of clay!!! Not really sure what his function is, he doesn’t work well as a mug due to being spherical and having no handles (neck isn’t strong enough for that). Maybe a flower pot? Who knows

I don’t usually take panoramas, but the view from Eagle Rock gives a nice look at some of the “nine sisters”, or a series of volcanic plugs in SLO county.

From left to right: Cerro Romauldo, large and pointy. Directly under the sun is Hollister Peak, distinctly rocky. To the right and a little behind Hollister is Cerro Cabrillo (you may have to zoom for this one), which is much smaller and looks like a little hill. Just to the right and beyond Cerro Cabrillo is Morro Rock, the last of the nine sisters that isn’t underwater. And just beyond that you can see three smokestacks from the closed Morro Bay Power Plant. 7/4/19
