So to sum up: CT and DC have passed laws making it illegal to extradite someone to another state if they are being charged in that other state for crimes pertaining to abortion or trans health care, and makes it legal to sue and get your money back if you are targeted by a TX-style "bounty" law. DC also includes "crimes" of consensual adult sex, gay and interracial marriage and cohabitation and providing or using contraception.

This is, as the thread explains, basically legal interstate warfare. CT and DC's laws bar compliance with such laws.

This is, on one hand, kind of terrifying, because this is where we are now. It's going to get worse long before it gets better.

On the other hand... holy shit, someone fucking did something.

Had a revelation recently and thought it might help other people too.

There is absolutely NO shame in having a ton of projects on the go and switching between or even dropping them on a whim.

Hobbies are meant to be FUN.

You can have 20 writing projects, or knitting, or whatever your thing is, and putting them down for a bit or abandoning them is a-okay.

I personally would never think that someone who started playing a video game and then decided to play another before it was finished was a quitter, so why am I so judgemental towards myself?

Doing your hobbies in a way that brings you joy isn't selfish or weak, it's...literally the whole point of them. Go nuts!

a/n: hey guys! I am so excited to write about this. I've been putting it off because I wanted to make this prompt a one-shot but alas, I lost inspo so I decided to make them hcs instead. Hope you still enjoy these, anon! let's get started!

I feel like howl has soft hands, you can't tell me otherwise.

He has to do really tough spells with his hands a lot so he makes sure to give his hands a bit more love by having a hand care routine.

Not only does he have soft hands, but he also has that feather-light touch.

whatever massage you need, Howl was sure able to deliver.

"ugh my back hurts," you said mostly to yourself, rolling your shoulders back to attempt to relieve the pain.

"what's this? Does my darling need my assistance?" howl said teasingly. his hands rested on your back now, kneading your back to ease your tense stance. You let out a sigh of relief.

You didn't talk back, choosing to guide his hands in the sorest spots.

Howl just chuckled and continued kneading all the knots from your shoulders.
