Allow me to re-introduce myself. My name is Tanya Michelle and I am the owner of This Is The Day Event Planning & Design, LLC. I created the business in 2014 and have been blessed to serve some really awesome people over the years. I am joyfully married (21 years) to my God-ordained husband, @cheffin_ari who recently retired from a 33 year career as a technician (see his retirement video in our feed) and we are all about designing the life we want to live. Let me first clarify that none of this happens without God at the center: with His blueprint we can be sure we are constructing a firm foundation to build a great life on. And whenever we’ve gotten away from the blueprint, things got shakey😳. Thankfully, He graciously nudges us when we’re tripping or feeling like “we got this” and He gets us back on track. And by “on track” I mean on our path of His calling and not just doing things we, (or other people) think we’re good at. Sometimes they are the same thing, but sometimes the thing you’re good at can become a distraction to the thing you’re called to be great at.😉 In this past year or so, we have been trimming the fat (of distractions) off our lives and readying ourselves to be laser focused on what we’re CALLED to do. What is that? Well, we will begin to share that calling and the journey to it in upcoming posts, so look for a slight change in content going forward. You’ll learn more about who we are and what we love to do - TOGETHER. Yes, we are two individuals, but the magic happens when we rock it out as one. Be prepared to see that handsome face a lot more often and even the two fur babies too. They’re all a part of the journey and we can’t wait to share it! (One can put a thousand to flight, and two can put ten thousand…) I promise y’all things happen better and faster when you and your spouse are in AGREEMENT.
