So you're done with creating groups? :( This place didn't even have a chance. The main died and the characters followed suit.

Actually the characters died well before the main did. We did our best to keep things active but didn't receive that same effort from a lot of our members due to real life getting in the way of RP, as it often does.

We'll be working with about ten players/characters from this group on a collaborative AU roleplay space. We feel this best suits us, as all the players are able to commit to the activity requirements and also have a great passion for their characters.

Notice of Closing

Dear members and followers of This Is Twenty,

It saddens us to say that This Is Twenty will be closing. Due to the gradual drop in activity over the past few weeks and the increase in pace of lives for multiple members, we have decided that This is Twenty has to close.

This was a difficult decision but one that had to be made, as it is clear that people are very pressed for time and are lacking muse, meaning that many plots have not been able to develop properly. We do not want to strain muse or cause anything to be taken away from the characters that were created for our setting.

We have had nearly a three month run with a heapload of feels and it was a delight to see both canon bios and oc bios brought to life. But unfortunately things do happen that have contributed to the sustenance of the group.

We do appreciate every effort of activity put in: that includes challenges, events, self paras, plots etc. The amount of talent we were able to gather cannot be put into words and we hope that we've done our initial job with this roleplay which was to evoke character development and growth as writers. We also appreciate those who had expressed interest in joining and were not able to officially be a part of this group. Applications did mean a lot to us as well as were a pleasure to look over.

We encourage members to remain in contact and to check in via the OOC blog. We love each of you dearly, but unfortunately, we have reached this conclusion as admins together.

In your rules, it says that you want people to post once every five days (or something of that ilk)... But in the application, you say five times a day. Which should I be expected to meet? I'm sorry for the question x: I just need to know before I apply and potentially waste your time.

In our rules we state that if you don’t post for five days with no explanation, your role will be reopened. Our standard activity requirement, as mentioned in the application, is five posts for a day. Hope that clears up your confusion.

I really hate to see all of these roles opening. This is a great roleplay and it's a shame that you have so many roles open.

Yeah tell us about it, anon. We're really sad too, especially cause we've lost some really great roleplayers and unfortunately its all for stuff that is out of our control and out of the players' control. Real life can just get really busy sometimes and its a shame that roleplay does have to take a backseat. We really hope that through this we manage to find some more great players but for now it is pretty disappointing to have so many open roles.

Hopefully we'll see some auditions soon!

I've had a look at her and she seems to be a youtuber? We're not really into using youtubers as faceclaims and though we appreciate that you'd take the time to make your own gifs, we're not really sure that'll work out. Sorry, anon!

Over the next 24 hours, all members are required to send at least one message to every character.

For this third anon hours session, the theme will be:

Mun vs Muse

This is a concept seen most commonly through indie rp, though we figured it could be a fun way to spark muse. The idea is that you will be sent a topic to discuss, and then you (the player/mun) will discuss that topic with your muse/character. For example:

Anon sends to Kane: Talk about your dad. Kane: I'd rather not, thanks. Aleks: Kane doesn't exactly like talking about his dad. I mean he was pretty messed up at the end of his senior year. Kane: I have nothing to say about him. Aleks: I guess he's being stubborn today. Like a magic eight ball would say, try again later.

ETC ETC ETC ETC. The message can be a general question, a question about a ship or character, a simple topic or really anything else you wish.

Get creative, dig deep, and have fun! If you notice someone isn’t receiving many questions, take initiative and send them a couple so that nobody gets left out :) Have fun!

Also note, there are a few roles that are slowly approaching the activity limit that we have set for all of our members.

With that being said, we as admins, want to make sure that everyone is able to utilize and grow with the characters they have committed to. We understand that life can be hectic and muse can dwindle, but we seriously insist that if you are having trouble with plots, even a challenge, do come to us. We would not mind talking out a plot with you, even guiding you and your character towards some long term plot (involving our characters is irrelevant.) The purpose of This Is Twenty is to create a community for character development and plotting, for feels and relationships to run their course. If there is a particular problem, lack of muse, etc that is hindering you, please come to us so we can help you out. If you need a hiatus, also let us know. Communication is key. 

In order to hopefully spark some muse for all of you, we will be posting an anon hour tonight! It's a really fun exercise that we want you all to enjoy.
