Correct me if I’m wrong, but hasn’t the US government always cracked down on leftist protests? I remember watching a documentary about the Occupy Wall Street protests of 2011 and I was genuinely shocked at how violent the NYPD were when it came to dealing with protesters.
I didn’t pay much attention to those protests at the time, but looking back at them now, they kind of feel like an eerie glimpse into what the political and social landscape would become.
Still, it is pretty fucked up how these colleges are cracking down on any Pro Palestine speech on campus. Seriously, the fact that the police are being called in to arrest students who are just sitting onside in tents is straight up draconian.

I dunno why some folks are surprised that Twitch streamers are misgendering Venture.
We saw the exact same thing happen with Bloodhound in Apex Legends.
It kinds sucks that most online nerd spaces are now filled with hateful homophobic and transphobic assholes, but this is sadly what happens when mods or people in power don't push back against hatred. It festers to the point where it becomes unbearable.

You would have to max out the BP to get enough Mythic Prisms to buy a single Mythic skin set.
Overwatch 2 is a game that has all these in game currencies, but is super stingy when it comes to player rewards.
You can spend an entire day grinding and you still wouldn’t have enough in game credits to buy a single legendary skin or golden weapon.
Things really were much simpler when they had loot boxes.

I truly don't understand how anyone can look at the tensions between Israel and Iran and not be scared shitless at how things got this bad in a short amount of time.
The US government is basically telling Israel "Yeah, you can commit a genocide, we're not going to stop you."
It doesn't take a fucking genius to realize that Israel's actions were going to create a domino effect that was going to lead to a global conflict.
And like I said before, all this shit could have been avoided had the US government just implemented a permanent ceasefire in October. But they just kept funding this genocide because they're that morally bankrupt.
