Another challenge from artfol! Argo is probably my only OC that went through a drastic change in hair lenght, so I though he'll be a good candidate for this (who knows, I may do some other ones if I'll feel like it).
He basically used to have very long hair, until he's become a Wanderer's Apprentice, and it soon turned out that he couldn't keep up with the maintenance. He ended up cutting them off, and never grew them out again. The 'longer' hairstyle box is how he'd probably look like if he kept them long. Which, coincidentally, makes him look uncannily similar to his father.

There is a slight, but meaningful difference between English and Polish version of this dialogue - in the original the sentence reads "You pause, knowing you may not survive the battle to come" and in the Polish translation it's "You stop, aware that You will not survive the coming battle". Whether it's a simple translation blunder or an intentionally more dramatic approach, considering Charname has to take battle after battle in their weakened state that's getting worse, it makes sense they'd feel they've reached their limit.

Boromir I drew to practice painting backgrounds in acrylics ♥ He is sitting in the pine forest, since ....when I first time read LOTR (9 years old) I was sure his name was Czech/Slavic, meaning "peaceful pine forest" (since "Bor" means pine forest here and "Mír" means peace ....also this "-mir" is really common name suffix here :D)

I just want to take the funny looking foal home. He's like the opposite of those overbred seahorse arabs.
And I'd let him grow a tail. Obviously.

how come every time someone asks “which BG3 character would adjust best to our world” or “which BG3 character would be able to handle [food/cultural aspect from our world]?”
nobody EVER says Lae’zel? In canon that girl is like 22. Born in space. Grew up on a comet or whatever the hell by the Moon. Got kidnapped by her People’s ancient terror/worst enemy. Dropped off on a random planet in the immediate company of people who hate/distrust her simply at a glance and she is just rolling with it. She is just ALWAYS rolling with it.
She’s eating whatever the fuck Gale throws on the fire every night. No idea what a carrot was until yesterday. No complaints.
Everyone but Wyll & Karlach is like 40 years older than her minimum and so mean for no reason. She doesn’t care. She’s got a job to do.
Oh it turns out the God-Queen she’s dedicated her entire existence to is a farce? Needs to be destroyed? If you’ve been nice to her it takes 45 seconds to deconstruct her entire lifelong understanding of the meaning of everything she’s ever known. She’s on your side.
Every single thing you do in the game is alien to her. That woman has never been to a circus.
Yet she’s eating carrots and petting a dog and ready to kill her God.
And people think she couldn’t handle a Costco? PLEASE!!!!!

I have a lot of thoughts concerning the finale of BG2 - in my current playthrough some things played perfectly into the narration, while others made some exchanges look a little weird in the context of the gameplay.
I have to admit, the final confrontation seems a little dragged out. The most tense moment of introspection is before Charname steps into the crown of the Tree of Life and I absolutely love how it builds up the tension. The majority of the narration concerning Charname's emotional state and observations during the first part is awesome (the pause after Irenicus dies for the first time? *cheff's kiss*) but the pretty long trials and the second confrontation sort-of undermine its importance as The Big Final Battle.
I'm also not 100% sold on the idea that after the trials Charname still goes head to head with Irenicus when it comes to the control of the essence. The trials themselves seem to be framed as something Charname conjures to help themselves reach their soul - similarly to how the vision when Irenicus ripped their soul out seemed like a fever dream and was actually the result of them retreating inside and trying to find a foothold to defend themselves.
Of course, this time it's a warped version of the Pocket Plane, an actual domain Charname doesn't yet know they can access. Charname's influence over the place is underlined many times, so IMO it rings a little bit hollow that Irenicus has to be beaten down in a brutal battle of dominance, with the trials and the choices taken to get the Tears having only a marginal influence over the ordeal. From a good Charname's perspective, I like that Irenicus turns into a Slayer, when the Slayer is often framed as the emanation of Charname's darkest side. However, he still retains a lot of control over it, and over the battlefield. I feel it would be more satisfying if the trials had tipped the scales somehow, instead of just be a necessary step for the confrontation to happen. To me feels more as if Irenicus used a copied skillset that Charname still has and the argument is over who gets to live, and less like them having a tug-of-war, excercising authority over something they desperately want to have.
