sometimes i forget just how many verses i have given thor and then i'm reminded of how proud i am for my own creativity and ability to place him in so many different worlds so i can rp with more people especially those who may not be familiar with marvel.

thor scoffs lightly, accompanied by a gentle, playful smile. it is what he does when the pain is just too much. pain might not be the right word. uncertainty might be better. thor is uncertain about a lot of things. "i wouldn't wish to burden you with my troubles, brother. i assure you, i am fine."

on multiple occasions it has been mentioned how this family does not do well with communication and sharing emotions. ever since he could remember, thor had wanted the throne. reveled in the thought, prepared for the inevitable. now that the moment has come to fruition and their world has been literally torn apart, what will he do?

i'm sure i've addressed this somewhere but reminder that if thor wears his fake eye its still BROWN. in l & t they were back to being blue so unless its a color changing eye i don't like how that wasn't addressed. my thor still sometimes goes without the fake eye anyway cause it wasn't made for him and it chafes.

surely he could have one made that matches eye color and is fitted more appropriately but he doesn't care enough to do that. he just accepts things as they are.

the god will not poke or prod. tony has always been a man of 'suffering in silence' the same as many of the avengers. their burdens are their own to bear, but thor can show support when someone is clearly in mental distress. who could blame them after everything they've been through. regardless of wealth, power, or capabilities they are still living beings with emotions. they feel just as anyone else. most forget that, he supposes anyway.

mismatched eyes continue to watch stark closely as his resolve, seemingly, starts to crumble. a heavy sigh leaves him when tony ditches the charade in favor of the question. " it does, but one does not deliver themselves from despair on their own." you have seen me at my worst, stark, and you were there to pick me up and help me back to finding myself. "it will get better with time but only if you allow those that care for you to help."

"Yeah." His voice cracks a little and he doesn't even know why. When was the last time someone had showed genuine concern or even interest for his well being? Someone who wasn't fooled by his little lies, someone who wasn't Pepper, Rhodey and Happy. And those three had their own burdens to carry anway, so it would not be right to add his own to theirs. His mistakes and sins he had been trying to atone for for years now and yet everytime he thought it was over something new was flung his way.

The engineer can't stop the light tremor of his shoulders under the touch of the thunder god. "Will it get better?" He doesn't specify, hoping that the other would understand without him having to go into needless details, to admit his weakness out loud. "Over time I mean. Or will it just continue on?" How many years had he been struggling now?

how could he ever keep anything from steve? not that he's trying, but finding the right words is inherently difficult at the moment. after the correspondence that had found its way to him in new asgard, the pit in his stomach has settled in. along with it, memories are flooding his mind, emotions are beginning to bubble to the surface. no doubt that his color has faded to pale as if he had seen a ghostly apparition. perhaps he has.

his lips part to speak, but no words can find their way out, at first. the ravens had brought him a letter and how can he believe the words scribbled along the page? part of him wants to believe what is written is true but how can he? what steps does he take next to decipher the mystery and find the truth? thor turns away, glimpsing back down at the letter. it has no name attached and only one sentence scrawled across it.

hesitantly, thor reaches out to hand the letter to his husband, obvious concern expressed all over steve's face. how is he supposed to feel about it?

YOUR BROTHER IS ALIVE.

that is all the parchment says. he has mourned loki more than once but the last had been exceedingly final. how many more times can he suffer losing a brother if this should be true? wouldn't loki find him, if it were? what would continue to keep them apart when their last meeting had steered them towards the direction of being brothers again? if anyone can help him through such an emotional surge of events, it would be the man standing in front of him.

"this cannot be." is all he manages since currently his heart has found its way into both his stomach and his throat at the same time.

ya know. i've been really contemplating making a new multi. i have a few characters i'd like to continue to rp that i have in the past but having multiple blogs just hasn't worked for me. but with my schedule now it might be the best option. idk. we'll see how it goes. having the time to start a whole new blog is also a challenge i'm not sure i'm up for.

right now, thor could not sleep even if he wanted. sure, he is tired beyond belief but nothing would allow him to sleep with as hunted and sought out as they are. he'd have to drink himself into stupor to do so but that wouldn't be such a smart move since the need for a clear head outweighs, literally, anything else. glancing at andy, though, she seems far more tired than he anyway. if he can coax her to get even the tiniest amounts of sleep then he'll do his best. "Good point," he mumbles with a shrug. he hates when she's right, but oh well. she's usually right even if he won't admit to that. blue eyes flicker up to the love of his long life as she stands before him and he gives her a soft smile. "of course. i think we could both do with at least a few hours each." thor reaches out to grip her hand, giving it a slight squeeze before letting it go. "i'll come get you in a few hours so we can switch alright?"

andromache  is  always  on  high  alert  at  any  given  day.  so  when  they're  in  trouble,  the  woman  is  a  good  ten  times  as  alert.  usually,  that  is.  not  having  the  bast  few  days  of  sleep lately,  she  finds  herself  rather  tired  to  the  point  she  might  not  even  argue  too  much  with  him.  they  need  someone  who's  not  about  to  fall  asleep  to  ensure  their  safety.  and  although  a  nightmare  is  sure  going  to  wake  her  up  minutes  into  her  sleep,  she  won't  want  it  to  interfere.  still,  she  might  argue.  ❝  you  sure  think  after  all  these  years  drinking  it,  coffee  still  does  that  to  you,  darling?  ❞    she  teases  with  a  small  cynical  smile,  approaching  him  slowly,  only  stopping  when  she's  standing  right  in  front  of  him,  in  between  his  legs.  ❝  will  you  let  me  know  at  least  when  you  do  feel  tired,  so  i  take�� over?  ❞

it amuses the god when midgardian's are so taken aback about his actual existence. truthfully, most have heard of the avengers, otherwise they've been living in the wilderness for much too long in their own universe. right? perhaps, meeting one of them hadn't been planned and THAT might be why they find it so unbelievable.

the thunderer stands at his full height looking down at woman in clear awe of him. "do humans truly practice such things?" he asks shrugging his shoulders giving it only the briefest of thoughts. "i would not stand before you and pretend to be anyone other than who i am."

You would think, after a DECADE being in love with a man whose radioactive spider bite had turned him into a superhero, that MJ's capacity to be shocked would be at an all time low. In the last year alone New York had almost succumbed to threats from every major villain in the RAFT (all at the same time, too - what a fun week that was), a veritable army of highly trained and incredibly ruthless hunters, and a literal ALIEN INVASION.

And yet here she was, shaking her head as if she must've HALLUCINATED his introduction because no way had she heard him correctly.

not me starting to watch twd again because i started collecting the deluxe comics again. i really want to check out the new show spinoffs but need to see how the series actually ended.

if you had 'elyse cried the first time she saw jesus again' on your bingo cards for 2024 make sure to mark it. i miss my boy and he deserved so much better. and now i miss my jesus blog.

I might be a little more excited than I should be about this book. Thor dies. Loki is banished. The description for this book is insane but also intriguing.
