The Witcher fandom is on life support right now istg..the Witcher books deserved a way better representation of their themes and characters than whatever the fuck the show did.

It’s fun but it’s so watered down..it’s like the Witcher but a “lite” version of it.

The characters are fundamentally different from canon or criminally simplified.

Netflix made a show for certain demographics and the books readers are not one of them unfortunately unless you turn off your brain from thinking it’s an adaptation for something and you should enjoy it as its own thing.

The only thing keeping me waiting for future seasons is the women of the lodge and only that.

I think that Moiraine should 100% utterly ignore her family except that she should have sent her nieces and nephews (of which she has more other than just the Trakands because she has at least one sister with kids) presents like all the time, because even if they never met her or knew anything about her, they would know her as cool gay aunt Moiraine who is a witch and travels all the time and only ever sends them presents so she's automatically in their good graces. like that's just daes dae'mar, really

I love how open minded she is. She’s always curious about other cultures and eager to listen and learn from anyone.

Wow. I love Egwene. I didn’t have much particular affection for her, since I didn’t really connect with some of her decisions. But when she confessed to the Wise Ones that she lied, and when she connected to their cultures and asked for their help to meet her toh, I was in awe. I love her. She is my girl now.

Okay, it COULD be a reach, bUT you were so excited for new Witcher content and now you are almost radio silent about it, spending more time on WoT content. I take it you were ~underwhelmed~ by S2?

Believe it or not I enjoyed S2 of witcher more than wot.

It’s just that if you’ve been following me since 2016 or something you would know most of my content is sorceresses sorceresses and sorceresses, and sometimes Yenralt.

And while I enjoyed this season it was lacking what I anticipated the MOST..Philippa being Philippa and doing Philippa shit. We had ONE line from her and like 10 seconds at most of her human form. I LOVED how she looked, how she carried herself but I needed more.

The anemic amount of Sabrina content was shameful..but hey we got a scene of her in a bath so that’s something? 😅

I LOVED Tissaia and Triss interactions..felt like a mother with her youngest daughter 🥺 I want to scream about it later of course.
