I've been thinking of doing that before!! And I probably will later lol though it most likely wont be a good reference point to look at if you want to know what things I take requests for and what not... 🤔

I love a lot of different pieces of media that I wouldn't necessarily talk about in a tickling context. Even with the things that I would, I tend to grab out a handful of characters that I wanna draw and not really care thaaat much about the rest pfff

How r u so good at adapting to different anime art styles (i.e. One Piece, Pokémon)?

I'm generally curious, cuz it's incredible, and u have ur own cute art style on top of that. How do u do it???

Ahh thank you!!! My response ended up getting a lilttle long so I’ll put it under a read more~✨

I’ve mentioned it before but I personally love working with references when I’m drawing. This goes both for poses and anatomy and of course for understanding and adapting to a new art style or character design!

Like for example, a thing that I’m sure most people notice is how between different art styles the eyes and often more specifically the pupils tend to be drawn quite differently.

This more often than not goes for everything else too.

Hair, noses, mouths and teeth, head shapes, neck shapes, collarbones and shoulders! Clothing and material folds, complexity of the hands and footwear... Color palettes, line thickness, Where and how often shading or highlights are used, etc, etc....

There’s SOOO many different “rules” depending on the art style of what you want to adapt to and while it can definitely be a bit overwhelming to try to understand and apply all of these rules at once, it is also in my opinion, an extremely fun process!

I definitely recommend reading up on some general character design tips and principles in your free time if this is something that interests you! Getting an understanding of the thought process behind the creation of designs can make it easier for you to spot and grasp these aspects when looking at finished ones as well.

And when it comes to drawing in general, like with many other skills lots of practice is really the best thing you can do!! Doesn’t event have to be with the intent of “practicing”! Just, if you do something alot, you’ll get better at it over time.

Personally for me my art style wasn’t something i consciously decided on! By trying to adapt to lots of different styles in the past I learned a lot of different ways to draw things. Some techniques I keep using to this day and others I only use for that specific style. It was more of a selective process that happened naturally based on what I thought would mesh well together and also have the most fun drawing, huhu!!

Ohh, it’s been a hot minute since I watched it actually! I believe I was watching it as it was airing... I liked it alot!!! S2 introduced Romiere after all, who (to nobodies suprise) quickly became my favorite character from the show fsdhj AT LEAST SO FAR!!

Waaagh It’s a good series, I wish more people would be talking about it but on the other hand, I suppose I do prefer a cozy fandom like this one over one as big as some other shows or games have lol
