I wanted to ask about the vehicle of the Transformers. In your au do they drive them or can they transform into them? Thanks a million

Hello hello! Some of them do drive their vehicle alt modes out of necessity (like Ratchet and most of the Protectobots), but most don't for in-universe reasons. No transformation takes place! They're wearing high-tech armor for most part.

GQ is a MUCH harder magazine to do a template for since it’s a LOT busier that TIME and the fonts/details change depending on the edition so I won’t be putting up a template for it, but magazine covers WILL be part of what I will offer when I reopen commissions!

The idea of documenting Ties That Bind's timeline via printed material was something that hit me a short while back, so the first set to be gracing magazine covers would, of course, be Morgan Trayton (Megatron) and Omar Parvez (Optimus Prime) themselves during their pre-split rebellion days. Both men likely still have this edition still in their possession as a poignant and painful reminder of past times.

This will likely be a short series, with Jazz set to be gracing Rolling Stone and Mirage slated for an edition of GQ! (Debating on @elfdragon12's Tracks for Forbes GIRL LEMME KNOW IF HE FITS THE BILL)

The headspace was quiet enough tonight for Fatima ‘First Aid’ Adnan, the Autobots’ Florence Nightingale to approach me for a little airtime, and I figure I’d give her a face behind her niqab which only her direct family, girl gang (who’ve likely just invited her to their weekly karaoke sessions) and future husband Streetwise have the privilege to view ✨👌🏼

The little Asclepius staff brooch she wears is a gift from Ratchet, and one of her prized possessions. She DID NOT have a good time in medical school and went through hazing hell during her residency period by colleagues who thought she didn’t have what it took to work the emergency floor—Ratchet was the first person on there to acknowledge that she had earned her spot and deserved to be there with the rest of them, and she’s never forgotten that. Many people still see her as the Medical Bay ‘dove’ compared to the shrieking hawk armed with kidney dishes that is Ratchet, but as Pharma finds out, they take her gentleness for meekness at their own peril.

Official design for Teo Cortes, codename Thundercracker! Basically the Bubbles of the Seeker Trio (With Starscream as the Blossom and Skywarp as the Buttercup)—a dreamer and romantic who really has no place on the battlefield except for his desire to help forge a better world, though at some point he realizes that he doesn’t like where his stage director is taking this narrative, and takes the script of his life back into his own hands. His design is very inspired by Raul Esparza’s rendition of Che in Evita (which whom he shares a singing voice!) and his departure from the Cons, who tend to see him as an overgrown theatre kid, actually marks a darker turning point for them (as they don’t quite realise the brevity and genuine heart he brings to the fight until it’s too late)

Another massive labour of love focusing on the different ships in TTB; MirHound, Dratchet Windscream and Side/Arm in varying degrees of angst, longing, action and general fluff because I love them all and y’all gon suffer with me today ✨💖

I love the idea that lyrics become diegetic (part of the narrative) near the end with Sideswipe singing to Strongarm while she’s on fieldwork and they’re doing their usual check-in on each other (and she really just wants to hear his voice/know that he’s holding on OK after the whole fiasco with Sunstreaker, and it’s just his fluffy little way of letting her know he’s not feeling like half a man anymore).

(MirHound WILL be OK new friends, I promise! This is just them at the literal worst points in their lives, it only gets better in time from here).

It’s June 20th, which means I can finally reveal my labour of love for the Represent Zine on @allsparkzines!

I chose to focus on the Caminus Valkyries–Windblade, Lightbright and Chromia who are TTB’s elite Girl Gang! Lightbright took centrestage because I wanted to showcase a part of my culture as a Malaysian through her Minang heritage and outfit, which utilized batik-style motifs and elements of Minangkabau architecture for her mantle/shoulderpads. 

The ornate frame and more delicate inkwork is is Art Noveau-inspired, and you get your first glimpse into the floating Venusian city of Caminus, which is very Asia-Centric with strong elements from Chinese and Indo-Malaysian architecture. 

The bronze statue is that of Shu Lin Pei/Solus Prime wielding her hammer in one hand and a flame in the other which is said to have been taken from her forge from the Quintesson War era and has been burning ever since. Those with the title ‘Mistress Of The Flame’ are entrusted with the care of this flame that they hope to keep burning eternally as a symbol of her and their indomitable spirit. 

I was also assigned to create a cover for the IDW section, which you can find here!

Asides the main IDW piece, I was also entrusted with creating the cover for the IDW section of @allsparkzines ‘s Represent Zine, and went right into the thick of TTB’s action with this one!

Featuring First Aid in her full field outfit for the first time, Ratchet and a downed Optimus Prime in need of immediate medical care, the focus is on the team’s Yin and Yang, OP’s left and right hand man Prowl and Jazz coming to the rescue in the midst of a skirmish gone bad in Decepticon territory.
