30.11.2020 // cold and misty mornings
Goodmorging dear people on tumblr. It’s Monday, so a new week has started with new opportunities. I set my alarm quite early but stayed way too long in bed. Oh well, I’ve made a outlay for the introduction to my thesis and been writing an alinea. So, I’ve already been somewhat productive :p Later today I’ll be going to uni. I’ve started a new habit of walking from the trainstation to the campus. It’s a half an hour walk, which is good for the mind and body and I avoid public transportation in these times of a pandemic. But first, lunch!

hey there! so i got this question, do you think the link between adhd and grammar errors is a thing?
I don't doubt that ADHD can manifest as grammatical errors. But I would def talk to a professional and relay your experiences/thoughts, if at all possible.
For me, it manifests more (when I write) as stream of consciousness writing. So lots of run on sentences.
I hope that helps!

Do you consider having a studyblr as a benefit to your college/university stuff? Because part of me thinks it'll help me keep organized and accountable with my studies when I start college again (hopefully Spring 2021) but another part of me thinks it'll just be a pain and I'll forget about it after like two weeks.
Hi anon! Sorry for the late reply!
I think a studyblr is a great way to find motivation and be held accountable. And, anesthetics aside, I have seen some amazing tips for studying/student life in general.
And, even if you do abandon your studyblr after awhile, if it kick starts your journey to being your best self, who cares? Its a nice little thing, even if it is frivolous or potentially fast-fading.
I hope that helps!

Suggestions?
For one of my final projects, the medium that we choose is our own prerogative. I would like to make a zine for my final project, with this being said. The last time I made a zine (loved how it turned out), I used Word because it was the most accessible software to me - but this time, I would like to really step up my game. With that being said, what programs do y’all recommend that are (super cheap/free) that would allow me to accomplish this? I am sure Adobe would work really well for this; however, from my understanding Adobe is incredibly costly - and not really something I would want/need to invest in.
Conversely, I could also do an online zine. But not sure which platform would work best.

Now that work is officially shut down, I have a lot of time to review for the GRE and finish my Graduate school application.

Alright so I guess its as good a time as any to start being productive now that the world is ending!
Campus is closed and now all my classes are online, which kinda sucks because I’m not used to doing that, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out! And now I get to stay home with my kitty, while she completely distracts me and makes it all about her… things could be worse!

I was finally able to work from home today. Experiments continue later this week. This is my workspace, and I definitely need a better chair. Ouch! It's past 6:00, so the port wine has emerged. And it's unexpectedly snowing!
