Year seven they moved to San Myshuno, & Elsie found a job there. Harper was starting her career as a lawyer in the same city, & everything was now perfect!

Year four they got a small apartment together.

Year five saw him go after his master’s degree & they moved across the country to attend a new uni. She would follow him to the ends of the earth, her magic let her travel with ease, so wherever he went, she would be there.

She’d never been prouder of herself! And when she showed up at Ren’s doorstep during year three, biting her lip with nerves, he welcomed her back with open arms. Focused on his work and sports activities, he’d pushed every girl away as he waited for Elsie to come back to him.

By year four she was training with the elites, and they had trouble keeping up with her.

The first two years were the hardest, so hard in fact that she and Ren called off their romance so both could focus on their schooling. She saw Harper at least once a month, but both had their heads down, focused on bettering themselves.

It left little time for socialization.

It was a legendary place, one you could only dream of seeing, much less attending! But here she was, training alongside the best of the best in the world! Well ‘alongside’ them was stretching things a bit, she was hardly up to their level.

She knew some whispered about her, and wondered why she was there. Some were cruel to her, seeing her presence as an affront to the hard work it took to be accepted here. Elsie took their glares, and let it fuel her determination to not only catch up but to bypass them all.
