111 years ago. 1,500 souls were lost when Titanic tragically struck an iceberg and sank in the early hours of April 15th, 1912. We’ll always remember the true story at the center of this movie. Titanic’s legacy lives on every day!

Women and Children First | Scene 23
Before we start covering the scenes again in real time, Brittany and Ethan from nearly two years ago have an episode for you! Crazy that we've sat on this one for so long, but now we're finally able to share it!
In this episode we feature and answer our first voice message(!!!), discuss the launch of the first lifeboats, controversy surrounding the third class passengers being kept behind gates, set-ups and payoffs, more decision-making for Rose and her forever legendary retort "I'd rather be his whore than your wife."
We'll return two years older and wiser in the next scene. ;)

Happy 25th Anniversary to the iconic TITANIC!!! 💙🎞️ Picked up a copy of People magazine’s special edition.
I cannot wait to see it on the big screen again in February. Believe it or not, I haven’t watched the movie at all during our break. At this point, I really want the theatrical rerelease to be my first rewatch in nearly 2 years… 👀😭 It’s perfect timing. So many life-altering things have happened to me during our time away, I can’t think of a better way or time to go “back to Titanic.” I’m sure I’ll view it from a whole new perspective! 🥺 Looking forward to finally resuming our discussions in the new year! — Brittany.

Some truly incredible stats from our Spotify Wrapped! 🤯 I really can’t believe this, especially considering we’ve been on the longest break in history. 😭 The fact that the podcast has grown like this in our absence is crazy to me!!! It’s very encouraging to read.
Thank you all so much for listening! We are working towards returning in the near future! 🙏🏼🎙️💙 — Brittany.

Hey, everyone! Little update: I feel awful about how long this latest break has been. Back in December 2020, my mental health started to take a nosedive and it’s been an uphill battle ever since. I’ve fallen behind in many areas of my life over the past few months, including the podcast unfortunately.
As of recently, my mom and I have hit one of those roadblocks where it feels like literally *everything* is going wrong. We’ve had a lot on our plate, and I’m not gonna bother getting into details because it will sound like the longest, most ridiculous list of excuses and I’m so over excuses at this point lol. But basically, all of my projects including this podcast, music, etc. have ended up on the back burner while I get my life up and running again. Even something as simple as posting this update got pushed back way further than I intended. I’m so sorry to leave you hanging like that.
We do have a new episode recorded and mostly edited, but I can’t even listen to myself talk. 😭 I feel so weird about it suddenly, and that’s another mental block I’ve been trying to work past. I’m hoping to finally listen back to it soon and get it posted for you all. I am determined to finish this project, I’m just so sorry that it’s taking so freaking longggg. 🥺
Anyway, here’s a throwback of me proudly displaying a plastic Heart of The Ocean necklace at age… 6? circa 1999 probably. 💙💎 I totally thought I was rockin’ the real deal, unearthed from the depths of the Atlantic.

The never ending list of “Titanic” references:
Blatant “Titanic” reference on the latest episode of the new iCarly! Aired August 4th, 2021.
[I will be adding to this list whenever I see Titanic (1997) referenced on TV, in movies, online or in the news.]

🚨 Our podcast has been missing from Apple Podcasts search results for nearly a week now. Very concerning. After researching, I assumed it was a glitch that would sort itself out, but now I’m actively trying to get this resolved. If you’re subscribed, you should still be able to access episodes through your library - but any potential new listeners will have no way to find us.
