Happy Birthday to my Dad who passed away 4 years ago. He would’ve known what to say to me during these times to make me feel better. He grew up so poor, then served in the Army during WW2, surviving some of the most gruesome, terrible battles in history. Afterward, he made a nice life for himself in spite of a limited education because of his circumstances. He was smart & carved out his own path. He endured much pain & suffering but would have said he was a lucky man who had many great life experiences “even the bad ones served a purpose.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ He supported Toddle Tunes in any & every way he could. He believed in and loved the power of music. I’m proud to have those steel genes, that Irish/Scottish blood, that tenacity that comes from humble beginnings & fearless hearts running in my veins as I navigate through an uncertain future.
