Carrying thoughts and memories Gran didn't know how to support.) In return, they'd continue working hard, inexperienced fingers tying and turning and messing up. "Crystal?" sheepish but smiling, the pressure of love on their head. "Can you show me again? I don't get this part."

It does make them jump at first, confusion written all over their face as they turn to him. Did he really...? Huh...? They couldn't claim this would be the last time a primal beast surprised them, but it surely would be one of the strangest. (Not even Fenie did that, and she was arguably the most bird out of everyone around.) And so, what follows is silence. Tense, judging silence.

anyway im actually kind of worried about dad considering uh. rising casually having mom lore. like. 'i am your mother'. can u imagine releasing rising right after the most devastating story chs in gbf & us going to estalucia next update and being like 'hello heres ur mom. things are Not great and the implied dialogue is Hell'. fully understand all the 'rein.....O_O' comments they made on the rising streams JKBKADJD I GET IT NOOWWWWW (<-when it was released and my friend dm'd me asking me if i want spoilers)

like im sincereeeelllyyyyy hoping he's okay-ish but its also? if he went to estalucia for mom id like that. he returned to zinkenstill with a baby, and then left like 6-8 years later. i admittedly dont think he'd leave on a whim (theres also the part of how much happened ~10yrs ago). was the otherworld involved. was the kings eye involved. was mom dead before he returned to zinkenstill or. what is different in our timeline compared to the others (i saw one of the rising trailers and they use the bg art for the tree violet knight sits on in one of reins visions(??????)..................)

brief post talking about my old grans feelings toward their dad (theyre the same as last time) that ive been wanting to make before they throw the storyupdate on us. but i felt like talking about it again

while gran is very conflicted on their feelings toward their dad (very upset over being left-behind. very upset over being told to reach some fabled island instead of being picked up by him. very upset that they are upset. very upset he made the other villagers promise to not tell gran the truth about grans family situation. not doing excellent anytime a character reveals they've been hanging out with their dad (seox (seeds of redemption.....), shitori & mika). but also loves him very very dearly.) there is also their mixed feelings between not knowing if they rather hope he did have a very good reason to leave (gran wasn't left behind on a whim) or hoping he didn't (gran knows they dont want to settle down, and the idea that they themself are the only one who'd be miserable in one place makes them uncomfortable as well, if dad just left cuz he wanted to travel there is some kind of messy comfort in 'im not alone' regardless of the further feelings on 'leaving ur kid behind still sucks'). all in all! gran wants to meet him very badly but is also terrified of meeting him due to all the emotions swirling in them. this is not taking into account grans feelings after the last battle in oarlyegrande (tldr very negative at first, and with what happened the last ch theyre a bit anxious about how he will react too)

as for not being told of what happened to their parents, aunt & grandparents grans also in the position of understanding why he did that (not wanting gran to set out with revenge in their heart), but that doesnt mean theyre happy about it. definitely is a bit worried knowing what haillak told them tho from what repti had seen

like gallivans case is very different (he wasnt going to stay alive anyway?), but that doesnt stop gran from seeing him as alive either way? if anything gran struggles to accept the truth -> "we have to save you too" even though there's no way. (btw they should playable eurel cuz guy who was revived and guy who was on the brink of death is a fate ep thatd make me dizzy)

captain being asked to end risette in mireille's event (fkd up) and abramelin holding onto the phoenix & thus being in the line of fire (also fkd up). i go over this so many times but gran does nooooot like the idea of others dying (pulls out the list of times captain has jumped off islands/ships to save ppl), and personally being the reason is like. worse. on that scale. obviously. hold on i thought about act3 aauuurrghhhhhhhhh okay anyway? in both those cases gran ends up not having to do it, but they were ready to do it. which i have no further words on but i do think about it sometimes (and both times it happened went 'oh no'). top100 things that are sure to haunt gran
