I know that in The Young Elites we are suppossed to see Adelina as the villain, the wicked girl who uses her powers to hurt others. But I can only see an abused girl who wanted her revenge and did everything she could to obtain it.
And tbh, I would have done the same, can't hate her at all, I'm just cheering on her at this point

So I finished the book just this afternoon...
I came in the app...
I see these...
I recognize them all...
And I want to die again

Every single postcard Cassandra Jean did for the release of Chain of Iron. If you've read the book, you should be able to identify all the scenes — if not, something to look forward to! (Also, click any image to make it bigger.)

Guys, Julian took out his shirt and jacket because Emma asked him.
Emma could ask Julian to walk around the house in nothing but underwear and he would even hesitate to remove his clothes.
Gosh, she is so lucky. And yeah, I'm simping for Julian Blackthorn... again

The amount of money that I would pay to read the scene where Cassian kisses Nesta back to life after the scrying from the OTHER CHARACTERS’ PERSPECTIVE....
I’d die like can you imagine they’re all just talking inside each other’s heads.
Feyre: wtf is he doing
Amren: idiot boy! He’s going to get them both killed and then we’ll never find the mask.
Rhys: Az is this... you do not look shocked...
Azriel: *haunted* I’ve seen them do worse
Feyre: EXCUSE ME?!
Rhys: I thought you were supposed to be wayching them...
Azriel: yeah dw I saw it all
Feyre: is it getting um... warm in here to anyone else?
Rhysand: every room you walk into heats up, Feyre darling
Azriel: I am moving to another fucking court
Feyre: no I’m SERIOUS it’s really hot
Amren: So the bat managed to melt the ice queen after all
Feyre: do we just... watch them do this? Should we give them some privacy or-
Amren: privacy doesn’t exist in this court. She still needs to drop the damn bones.
Azriel: if this actually works I’m going to jump off the roof
Rhys: not much of a threat when you have wings, brother.
Azriel: I’ll be jumping to get away from whatever they’re going to do after this
Rhys: I’ll join you.

And as always, an amazing fannart to get you started. This is by monolimeart and it represents them all so well 😍😍
hey thanks for the review on my post could please tell me about the raven cycle and its characters
I'm glad you asked ;)
It may be one of the most complex stories in regards of characters. The writing style is magical and kind of detail, you have to know you will have a lot of descriptions because Maggie is such a visual writer. Yet that will make you love even the places.
And then the characters... they are basically one of the best friend groups I ever had the pleasure to read about. It may start with the simple goal of one of the MCs, Gansey, to find a lost Welsh King, but then their stories combine together, their dynamics and relationships, and everything between them is so pure. You will love them all for sure, maybe not at first but as the story progresses, so will they.
It's a character driven story. And one of my absolute faves in the world.

Thoughts on Nessian on my reread of ACOSF
I’ve seen many people say that they were sad that Cassian didn’t say I love you to Nesta. Despite being a huge romantic, this didn’t even occur to me whilst reading ACOSF for the first time. I’m currently on my third re-read and having a six month gap between reads has yet again allowed me to pick up on nuances and lines from Cassian that really prove my point in not being dissatisfied with this.
To be honest, the phrase that comes to mind is inspired by @vidalinav Nessian series “Nesta’s love is quiet,” but I want to argue that Cassian’s love is quiet, too.
There are so many small gestures and emotions that flash across Cassian’s face during the course of the book which make me realise that Cassian doesn’t have to say I love you in ACOSF—it’s just there, silently lapping in a really, truly beautiful way throughout the story. For example, Cassian’s siphons glint when Nesta mentions that a monster tried to eat her in the library: a subtle nod at the magic leaping at his veins to protect her at any signs of threat. It’s also there in the way his hands shake as he rolls up his leather jacket, terrified she’ll not agree to train with him and will continue to make herself ill. It’s there when Cassian looks down at Nesta when she’s offers a slice of herself, admitting that the training and breathing makes her thoughts less loud, and all he says, this beautiful male, is “ah, me too.”
I’d expected Cassian to be a territorial male when it came to his mate, but to be honest, what we actually see if this great, respectful restraint. Cassian loves Nesta so much he tortures himself by holding back from revealing his true feelings, not once giving in to what he wants because he knows Nesta is not ready. He disappears after the bond snaps into place because he knows it will freak her out—a huge, monumental sacrifice to himself. It’s almost as if Cassian is such a hulking warrior, that he doesn’t need to expend this bravado at being territorial. Not when it comes to Nesta. Not when he knows she won’t like it.
Yes, Cassian isn’t perfect. He snaps and says things that he shouldn’t. Sometimes I’d have liked him to stand up for Nesta against Amren (in particular). But Nesta bites at Cassian as well, far more frequently. They speak in the heat of the moment—saying things they don’t mean. I think they both recognise that in each other, especially as the story progresses and we get to the “we’re mates for fuck’s sake.” And that’s my point: both of their love is quiet, underlying even their arguments and when Nesta is driving him away. It’s just there, this never ending stream that’s gentle and loving underneath everything else that is often chaotic and playful and biting. They don’t need huge outpours of prose. They just love one another in a simple way that’s really just beautiful to witness. And that undercurrent is what breaks down Nesta’s icy facade when she finally cries. I’ve seen some people comment that Cassian pressures Nesta into agreeing that there won’t be with anybody else in the Solstice scene, but that’s not it at all. It’s this knowledge that they both have—this ability to read one another from a single glance. That’s what makes them mates. It’s what makes them perfect for each other—finally a worthy opponent.

Friendly reminder:
Rhysand would only kneel for his crown, which he did for Feyre.
But then he knelt in front of Nesta after saving her, who had A CROWN in her hands.
Even I'm shook

My fave part when this happens is when I say "keep reading" with a smug face because I asked the same thing and everybody told me that... my clown face was just amazing 😂
Hey guys, I just finished A court of Thorns and Roses and after reading memes and spoilers about it, I just wanted to ask the fandom, WHY DOES EVERYBODY HATE TAMLIN SOOOOOO MUCH.

Fact I love:
Nesta went in ACOSF without being able to go down a hundred steps and have a good balance to coordinate an improvised attack with Cassian on Lanthys and to pass the Blood Rite Qualifiers with her friends
My kind of woman, I want to be like Nesta

Nesta reads smutty books. I can already imagine her binge-reading The Spanish Love Deception and making her smile a little. But I hate how much she is suffering
So I'm about to start ACOSF after months of dreading it and waiting for my copy to arrive, please wish me luck because I am SO. SCARED. HELP. MEEE.
