I’ve seen a couple posts saying “oh if you fell off The Adventure Zone HERE is the spot you should tune back in on” and while I absolutely agree, especially when referring to Steeplechase, that campaign is great.

Alternate option.

Just restart The Adventure Zone, homie. You lost your soul somewhere along the way and it’s waiting for you to grab it and realize that taz has always been good, and there was no reason to drop off it. Imagine all the good bits you’re missing.

#I think it’s also a drawback of serial storytelling #I started balance a couple months after the finale so I listened to it all in one go #and then I was just always lost listening to amnesty #but when I relistened to amnesty #I listened to it all in one go and omg I love it so much

There’s this problem that nobody talks about with doing creative tasks to keep your hands busy while listening to podcasts, and that problem is that every crafted item in your home comes with vivid auditory memories attached to it. I can’t put my crocheted beanie on without thinking of half of the Hephaestus crew getting blasted into space as their pod detaches from the ship in a fire safety measure.

I'm gonna be honest I'm sort of obsessed with the roleplaying choices Travis is making in Ethersea. Devo is the most guy ever?? hot little bard full of religious trauma who grew up ridiculously sheltered but instead of being an uwu naïve boy he's angry and irrational and has absolutely NO ability to emotionally self-regulate and makes awful impulsive violent choices because he has NO idea what else to do??? but also he's a sweet little guy who feels awful about the harm he causes and paid an orphan to teach him how to swim to make up for losing her position on another ship and gets righteously furious about other people being magically manipulated the way he was. he has extreme phobias and makes frantic, doomed decisions to try and escape situations where he's confronted by them. also he's an influencer.
