I imagine that Peter Parker is probably pretty similar to the way Tony Stark was at his age, and so like Tony works out some of his habits and stuff pretty early on. And because they spend so much time in the workshop together it’s easy to fall into a rhythm and stuff. Tony learns that Peter knows Spanish and Italian, and so they sometimes wander off into either of those languages so they can keep eachother on their toes. When they’re both Deep in The Zone™ and talking takes up too much brain space that they need to focus on their work, they sort of learn to communicate through knocking against the table a certain amount of times to signal when they need a tool or a helping hand or something. Occasionally one of them just throws out huge strings of numbers or equations and the other replies with an equally mind-boggling formula before they drift off into focused silence again.
Anyway now imagine someone like Steve or Rhodey walking in and like. Trying to understand how the FUCK these two are communicating with eachother. Tony knocked three times and Peter gave him a screwdriver and made them both coffee? They just??? Fucking slip into Colloquial Spanish sometimes without any forewarning? Last night Tony literally just stared at Peter for twenty seconds straight and then Peter said ‘four’ and it was apparently what Tony had been looking for because he gave a thumbs up and then turned back to his project???????
having internet friends is the same as having irl friends but backwards. when you first meet someone irl the first thing you see is your face, and the first thing you learn is their name. maybe you ask where they're from, what their family is like, what they like to do in their free time. you have to figure out if you want to be friends. but if you make friends over the internet, you already have a shared interest. you might learn each other's routines, timezones, different habits. but learning their real name is a big deal. face reveals are an even bigger deal. the things you usually first learn about someone are some of the last things you learn about someone you meet online. you're making friends, but backwards.
So, these two engineers are trying to determine the height of a flagpole…
…A blonde woman wearing a tool belt and hardhat comes walking by, notices the engineers with their problem and goes over to help. She loosens the bolts at the base of the pole, lays it down on its side, then takes her tape measure and runs it down the side of the pole.
“26 feet 6 inches” She says to the two perplexed engineers, and then walks off. One engineer looks at the other and says, “Typical blonde. We want the height and she gives us the length!”
red dead redemption 2 said okay here you are, dropped in the middle of these unfamiliar people's story in an unfamiliar world, but before you know it these people will become so familiar to you, of course they will, and you will share their sorrow and struggle and laughter and their hope as you move from icy grey skies to greener lands. and you will remember every single person's name despite how many there are because all of them are so full of life and personality. and then the world will open up more and more and you will feel it, that vast expanse, you will steal away hours and spend so many discovering and learning and seeing. seeing how big it all is, how many stories can cross your path. you will learn to fight and bleed and heal and most importantly you will start learning to choose to be good because you can be cruel, yes, but kindness always feels like what arthur morgan would truly do, no matter how difficult, and you can't quite put your finger onto why that is just yet. and you will see people through his eyes and you will understand exactly how he feels about them and you will read his journal and speak to strangers and collects bits and pieces and eventually you will understand why. but by then the world opens up too much and the green lands are turning into something awful and you are going to lose people you have come to love and each loss feels like a different wound but all of them equally painful. and then you learn you are going to lose yourself, too, eventually. and at first it is a horrifying discovery where it feels like you are constantly running out of time and where every breath could be your last and it feels like a punishment you deserve - but then as you choose kindness, again, over and over, as you do good, you are met by good, good people, and you begin to have hope in something new, your view shifts with arthur's as it finally sinks in what truly matters, what has truly mattered all along and why the more people you lost, the more it mattered. and you will fight for that, you will fight for that with your fists and guns and bloody hands and eventually with tears in your eyes - because arthur morgan will lay there dying but you will realize he never lost himself but rather found it. as it all ended and dutch's darkness pierced through, arthur shone with a light that carried on over to years and years later. and his story ends but the story doesn't and when you play as john you will try so hard to be arthur again, but neither you or john are arthur, and that is okay. there is more to learn and discover and fight and love and live for, so much more. you have your family and friends and though there are those that are still-living who feel like complete ghosts, there are those who may not be around anymore but are carried in the hearts of everyone, a legacy sustained not by riches or guns or bloodshed, but by love and honor, simple and hard-earned. and you will realize that red dead redemption has not changed your life so much as it has allowed you to live a completely different one.
I beg of you! Please give us more! Why is this the first time I’ve ever seen something like this??!

Hey, hey everyone!
I made this storyboard a little while ago for my Reverse Civil War AU and thought I’d share it with you all! Since it was only a storyboard it is quite sketchy, so I apologise for that, but if there’s anything unclear feel free to leave a comment and I’ll be happy to clarify for you! The basic storyline goes as follows:
In an alternate universe, when the Accords are anounced and everyone is either forced to sign or be arrested, it’s Tony Stark who ends up opposing the unfair laws and Steve Rogers who backs the call for accountability. No one knows why until the vigilante known as Spider-man is captured and held by Ross’ forces during the debate, leading to an all out war when Tony breaks the prisoner -his son- out with the help of some fellow Avengers. Now enemies in the eyes of the government, Tony and his team must fight those they once called friends in order to save the family they hold so dear.
This is just a brief glimpse into this AU, but hey if you’re interested, let me know and I might talk about it a bit more in depth! Hope you enjoy the animatic!!
