Man, Rhysand was never the dreamer in that god awful series. It was always Tamlin
Tamlin is the one who has always done everything he can do to stop injustice. Protecting mortals, always accepting fae from other court in his land, trying his damnedest to find a way to break the curse instead of stealing a mortal. He has always dreamed of a safer and more just world and has always tried to make that come true. Even after loosing so much he always did whats right and true in the end.
but hes doomed by the narrative. His good deeds and genuine soul over shadowed by the biases of the narrator. Hes the age old tragedy of wanting to be the best he can and do the best he can.

It’s funny how feyre got so upset at lucien for “choosing” tamlin and not doing more for her when tamlin became overcontrolling ,yet when the IC chose rhys and didn’t tell her about the dangers of her own pregnancy it was totally cool and ok 🤨?
And I knew that if ... that if I had been wasting away and Rhys had done nothing to stop it, Cassian or Azriel would have pulled me out. They would have taken me somewhere —wherever I needed to be —and dealt with Rhys later.
Funny you say that feyre because those same friends were willing to watch you go through the pregnancy completely oblivious to the fact that you’re gonna die because rhys told them to keep it from you.Despite feyre being their high lady and family, they chose to listen to rhys because they’re rhys’s friends above all🤷.
Lucien gets so much shit for being “tamlins loyal dog” as if the IC aren’t just as loyal to rhys if not more but it’s ok with them because they’re family. The double standards and hypocrisy from feyre is lowkey insane. ACOTAR feyre would have never let this shit slide 🗣️!!

something about Nesta being compared to an Illyrian. And something about Illyrian females getting their wings clipped in the most obvious form of gender-based oppression and violence.

I just remembered that Cassian sat across from Mor sipping tea while she talked about how Nesta should be in a dungeon or being tortured by being locked up in hewn city and he’s just there blown the fuck away by Mor’s beauty AND THEN LATER she winnows to Illyria where Cassian is training, ogles him and talks to Nesta about how she’ll never deserve him and how attractive he is
Nesta stood up for Cassian during the high lord meeting, in front of EVERYBODY and he can’t take his family aside and tell them to stop starting fights with her? He’ll stand in front of Mor when Eris is around but sit by and do nothing when Rhys threatens Nesta’s life?
He. Does. Not. Love. Her. Funny also that his attitude changed toward her after the war when she was taking other men to her bed. Sjm made her sleep around out of character so that nessian can have hate sex but sjm still virtue signals feminism as if Cassian in acowar wasn’t calling her sweetheart and Cassian in acomaf didn’t wipe away her tears in front of the queens and everyone. He promised her time together as his would-be last words. But then sjm writes that Nesta uses sex to cope and now all-of-a-sudden Cassian is telling her that everybody fucking hates her and that he never asked to be shackled to her. Making it clear she can only use sex as a coping mechanism if it’s sex WITH HIM.
Suddenly he’s not understanding. Suddenly he isn’t gentle with her. No, now he’s an incel who locks Nesta up until she caves and sleeps with him.
It’s hard to imagine a being with wings, who flies in the air, would want to confine his MATE to a house she can’t escape from. Azriel, too, was locked up as a boy and then acts as a prison guard against her? And for Feyre to be the one to do it when she was supposedly traumatized when Tamlin locked her in his mansion? I understand why elain packed her clothes and sent her on her way— she’s the type to save herself and if she sided with Nesta she’d be locked up alongside her.
I’m just saying, ACOSF is a lot to unpack and I’m still processing my shock and disgust years later. I truly can’t believe it happened.

It's been 7 long years.
The final season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians has just begun to release.
The Ares and Apollo cabins are in a dispute over ownership for the flying chariot.
The counselors sit around a table in the Big House.
Percy has just learned that he's (probably) gonna die in the next month, when Clarisse and Michael begin to bicker. Percy has had it up to here.
He starts clapping rhythmically. There is a lull in the room as they stare at him.
He claps faster.
"Oh golly, the road's getting bumpy, cause I've got me some friends who just can't get along-"

The "They're making Luke seem more sympathetic" arguement drives me insane
That's the point! Luke WAS right! Luke has valid reasons to hate the gods!!! He just went about it the wrong way, but Luke was absolutely 100% right, even percy knew that in the end

wouldn't it be hilarious if azriel does have a wife and kids hidden away but everyone thinks he's in love with mor so he just goes along with it so the IC don't stick their nose in his relationship

LOL Varian coming back to the Summer Court like "Hey uhhh, they're locking up the High Lady's sister over there? And insult her every other sentence? Glad we have a better family dynamic"
It was just supposed to be one date with Amren as a dare but now Varian is forced to keep going with Tarquin using him as a spy. Varian comes back, begging and pleading not to have to go there again - especially when he's chased from Amren's apartment naked by Nesta. Tarquin insists he needs to do this. Varian begrudgingly returns for the good of his court; Cresseida and Tarquin cannot stop laughing each time they send Varian back there.

Helion had looked at the Lady of Autumn repeatedly during the meeting. I asked, carefully and casually, “What do you mean?”
ACOWAR Page 301
I didn’t back down, didn’t apologize. “You barely even looked at her today.”

I don't want anybody to ever say feyre is reliable ever again

I simply will never understand how people try to make it seem like Cassian was the victim in the solstice scene in Acofas.
Like I cannot comprehend reading about a man following a woman down a dark street trying to get her attention after she repeatedly to him to leave her alone. Him proceeding to insult her after she tells him to go away. Then him stalking her and watching her through her window. And come to the conclusion that the woman is the wrong because your little book boyfriend was upset that a woman told him no. It’s pathetic.

Lucien just wants to talk to Elain one time to know more about her and Feyre talks shit about him because he is "in love" with Elain just because of the mating bond. While Rhysand only loves Feyre for the same fucking reason.

@nessianweek | Day 01: What Happened Next?
“Yes — when the time was right, they would start that journey together.”
Nesta and Cassian didn’t have the best family relationships with their maternal or paternal figures and this created deep marks on both of them, even influencing the notion they have about deserving or being worthy of the love of those around them.
Even if not in the immediate future, we have evidence they want to have children and we believe as soon as they learn about the existence of the first little bat, they will realize that loving their own children is not conditional or difficult.
For the first day of Nessian Week, @podemechamardek and I commissioned this fanart of Nessian with the little bat, because we have a soft spot for Nessian as parents. Michelle did an amazing job.

lack of bodily autonomy by lack of knowledge
ok, so i saw a stan bring up how rhys knows feyre better than we do and how feyre would’ve never gotten an abortion so if rhys had told her, she would’ve just been sitting in contant fear awaiting impending doom. well, i call bullshit
a) whether or not feyre would’ve aborted nyx isn’t the issue, it’s the fact that she wasn’t able to even consider it, she didn’t know. so yes, maybe had she known, she still would’ve kept the pregnancy, but it would’ve been her choice, not rhysand’s, because that’s essentially what he did, he made the choice to keep the baby for her.
b) even if we’re going with this belief that feyre never would’ve aborted nyx so telling her would just make her scared for no reason (which still does not make sense), her lack of knowledge meant she could not make end of life preparations. when terminally ill patients are diagnosed, they make plans on how they want to spend the remaining time they have left. maybe they want to travel, maybe they want to go skydiving, maybe they want swim in the great barrier reef, maybe they want canoe down the river nile, etc. feyre doesn’t get any of that, she didn’t know that she had to prepare for her life to end. maybe she would’ve painted something for everyone to remember her by, maybe she would’ve talked, truly talk, with her sisters and attempted to fix their relationship in the remaining time she had left. maybe she would’ve tried to find a way around the bargain because the nc still needs a ruler. but she doesn’t get to do any of that because she had no idea she would die in childbirth for months. and on top of that she found out from her estranged sister that she saw sporadically rather than from her husband and ‘friends’ that she saw almost every day, who let her go thinking everything was fine and she and her baby were perfectly healthy for. months. can you imagine the betrayal she felt? do y’all even care?
and for the argument that the stress of her knowing would cause her to miscarry, i mean this in the most neutral way possible, are you stupid? like i’m being so serious right now because that’s not how pregnancy works. pregnant women don’t miscarry because they are informed about their health. when life and death information is kept from them, that’s medical malpractice and in the case of feyre, how her husband actively kept that information away from her, it’s medical abuse. rhysand is a pro-lifer. “oh but he was looking for a solution” yes he was looking for a solution to save nyx, when there was already a solution to save just feyre. that’s what pro-lifers do, they value the life of the unborn child over the life of the mother even when it’s to the detriment of the latter.

Nevermind that weirdo Rhys, but I genuinely wonder how Mor, Amren, Cassian, and Azriel could lie to Feyre every single day they’re around her, and hide the truth that she could die in literal months.
All those times those dumbasses went to that club or drank or ate dinner together, was it weighing on their mind at all? The fact that they were betraying their High Lady, who is also supposedly their family?
When Feyre showed her new house and paintings, did they act completely normal? When she showed the new nursery, did they smile and bask in her joy? When she admitted to them she was scared because she had no idea what a proper parent looked like, did they react?
How genuinely sociopathic would you have to be to lie to this poor woman, who has no clue her husband is basically killing her, no clue she won’t get to meet her baby or if that baby will even survive either…
Feyre gets no time or chances to do what she wants, to write letters, to spend time with her sisters, or even figure out what the hell is gonna happen to the Night Court afterwards. And people, this is supposed to be our FMC!! The woman this series revolves around!!
I just don’t understand how you can possibly still like the IC or even respect them after this. In my opinion this is one of the most fucked up things to happen in the whole series, and it’s insane how it was brushed over.
Feyre showed so much empathy for all of them, literally gave up her entire world and autonomy to be apart of that family and accept them because if they were special to Rhys, they were special to her. No questions. She believed they had her back and trusted her too.
And i’m not even a Feyre fan, but she deserves wayyyy better than this series have her.
