Concept: Maybe Thomas was a newblood and survived the incident with Maven and at the end of war storm, when Maven “died” Thomas actually saved him and now they’re both alive and happy sitting together in a cute little house, where nobody can hurt them, looking longingly into each other’s eyes and declaring their love for one another and talking about their happy little future together.

Charms and How to Make Them
Tumblr media
A charm is any object, usually pocket-sized, that’s charged with energy of some kind. An example is a lucky charm that’s worn as a necklace or a lock of hair charged with energy from the person it came from.
Charms can sometimes be called talismans, totems or pendants. Regardless of the name, with slight connotations, these little items can be used the same way.
I use charms when sometimes a crystal isn’t specific enough for my Intent (spell, ritual). Sometimes I’m doing an Intent based on my job but Citrine, also known as the Merchant’s Stone, isn’t quite specific enough, I’ll include a charm I charged with a specific energy.
For example let’s say I really need a specific day off but my job needs as many employees as it can schedule so often times they deny requests for time off, I’ll do an Intent using a golf pencil I took from the scheduling office.
I also collect the charms I have so that I can reuse them whenever an Intent needs it. Or, if it’s appropriate for the day, I’ll carry the charm in my pocket all day.
How to charge Charms
The easiest way to charge any object as a charm is if it already has a personal meaning to it. Choose something that reminds you of whatever that energy is. I have two cross pendants; one is wooden that reminds me of Catholicism and the second is metal and reminds me of Protestants. (Not because one is primitive to the other but because one came before the other.)
Once you have chosen an item and it’s meaning is clear, it’s time to charge with energy.
Purify the space you’re in to rid of residue energy (e.g. burning incense)
Use crystals for meditation and visualization, utilize crystal grids (simple or complex)
Write the specific meaning/significance/value of the charm on a piece of paper so you have a clear interpretation of it (you could make a prayer/incantation)
Burn a purple candle and drop wax on the paper connecting your Third Eye/Psyche to the energy attaching itself to the charm (one or two drops per charm, don’t waste a whole candle on one)
Once you have your Charms
Cataloging them in your guild book wouldn’t hurt. Like I mentioned, you can use them in specific Intents or carry them with you. Gift them to friends so they have energies around them. I also collect mine in a box so they aren’t randomly roaming around.
I like to use Charms in my Intents because they’re reusable, less waste and I don’t have to worry about purchasing new ones as if they run out (unless you give it away or lose it). Although I’ve come to realize the best charms are the ones I find randomly on the ground or in an old drawer. They radiate an energy that’s almost communicative like when grandparents tell you a simple memory but it sticks with you forever.
Enjoy your Charms. Happy witching. Questions, comments and criticism are welcome.

🌟Tips for Student Witches🌟
So, if you’re like me then you’re probably a student who has most of their day taken up with schooling. Whether you’re in high school or college you have a lot of your time taken up. Well I came up with a few tips/ideas for you to incorporate witchcraft into you busy schedule!
☀️Mornings☀️
In the mornings you might be a bit busy getting ready but, if you could wake up a but earlier maybe 15 minutes then you could fit some things in my suggestion:
Meditation - meditation helps a lot to balance your chakras as well as help ground you so doing this in the morning will help keep you balanced and less stressed throughout your day
Yoga - Yoga is another form of sort of grounding yourself but it also wakes you up a bit more
⛅During the day⛅
In school you can do a lot of things or at least in high school because sometimes you have free time in classes or if you have homeroom this is a great time too!
Research! - Do some research! I suggest getting a notebook and pencil specifically for when writing witchcraft stuff at school and just look things up. Write about deities, gemstones, ideas you have, schedule things, or even write a list of things you need for a spell/ need to buy at the store like herbs and that (if you’re like me and can’t really have many plants)
List to music that helps you concentrate and possibly even ground yourself in the middle of the day
Bring some gemstones along with you that may help you during the school day
☁️Evening☁️
In the evening after school you usually want to relax and do whatever homework you have or study for a test so:
Make a cup of tea or even warm water with honey/agave! Either way warm drinks are very relaxing.
Open up some windows, let in some fresh air even if it’s just in your room
Light candles while you study/do work, make sure the candles correspond to their purpose but if you dont know what to light, white candles are a good start
Listen to some calm music that could relax you or ground you
🌙Night🌙
At night you’re usually getting ready for bed and that so here’s some ideas:
Take a bath! Take a nice calming bath with candles and some gemstones surrounding you as well as use some herbs or oils to add to the relaxation
Yoga
Meditate before you go to bed because I dont know about you but meditating gets me very tired as does tea so I suggest making a cup of tea and meditating as you drink it
🌸Other suggestions🌸
Study outside/near a window so you can connect more with the outdoors
Use sigils to help you in classes as well as when you study at home

To Witches Who Are Going Back to School
For those in the broom closet, or for those who are open, for baby witches and for the experienced, here are some back to school witch tips to help your school year be magical and spectacular <3
Draw sigils on assignments for good grades/to have your teacher appreciate your work, scratch them out really hard/fast or erase them to charge.
Charm your lip balm to be persuasive, or to be heard!
Draw a tarot card in the morning to see what you should be aware of for the day, or what you need to work on for the day.
Stir your morning tea or coffee counter-clockwise to rid bad energy, and stir clockwise to bring in good energy, luck, and any other sort of positive intention.
If you have a binder that acts as a book of shadows, place sigils on them to keep wandering eyes away.
Glamours, glamOURS, GLAMOURS!!!!! They work so well if you’re running late. I like to mumble them to myself and mediate on Rose Quartz when I’m in a rush.
Eat small snacks to keep yourself grounded, and don’t forget to breathe after each class. Trust me, I know it can get frustrating with obnoxious people.
Charm talismans/amulets/bracelets to help you be on time/remember your homework.
Put satchets in your lockers/decorate your locker to make it a little safe space or school-friendly altar.
Keep the list going! I started school Monday and I’m eager to see what else witches can do for school!

you might feel you’re a mess
but please also see
that so are the stars.
so are the clouds -
their movements, their shapes.
so are the branches of the trees -
they don’t know where to go or
if they still can go
so are the songs of the birds and
crickets - I don’t find the
melody in it.
