You’re vicious with the hand-tohand, a great shot on the range”—the king’s voice grew wry—“and we’re all aware of how good you are with a knife, aren’t we.”   Qhuinn felt a weird rush go through him, like some kind of fog had lifted and revealed an unexpected path out of the wilderness. He reached for John’s arm to steady himself even though it totally slapped the Hello! My Name Is Nancy tag on him.   “One thing, though,” the king said. “ Ahstrux nohtrum are expected to sacrifice their own lives for the one they protect. If shit comes down to it, they will take a mortal hit. Oh, and it’s a lifelong commitment, unless I say different. I’m the only one who can issue a pink slip, feel me?”   Qhuinn’s mouth talked of its own accord: “Of course. Absolutely.”   Wrath smiled and reached over to the box Beth had carried in. He took out a thick sheaf of paper, at the bottom of which was a gold seal with red and black satin ribbons.   “Gee, would you look at this.”   He casually tossed the official-looking document to the far edge of the desk. Qhuinn and John leaned in together. In the Old Language, the thing stated that…  “Holy… fuck,” Qhuinn breathed, then abruptly looked up at Beth. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to use foul language.”   She smiled and kissed the top of her hellren’s head. “It’s okay. I’ve heard worse.”   “Look at the date,” Wrath said.  It was backdated… the fucker was backdated to two months ago. According to the document, Qhuinn, son of Lohstrong, had been functioning as John Matthew, son of Darius, son of Marklon’s ahstrux nohtrum since late June.

how many moments does Jax relive in his head.  His heart seems dead, he feels the guilt and weight of his true love's death, that heart now filled with vengence and hatred.  Tara's words will soon have the affect they need to have for Jax; I believe this is a long time coming as Abel begins to fall apart as well.  Abel, his first born, his SON, as we take the final ride may be the very person who can open his fathers eyes to the carnage caused by Gemma.  " They will suffer Jax" said Tara.  And they are  The tear that Jax finally shed's or leaks while laying with Abel says so much for Jax.  Pain, terror, numb, hatred..he used to find peace with Tara and she can't provide it any longer and that guilt must be unbearable.

How does "there is only one face I see" turn into such a bloody mess.  Many say that this is so sad because Tara and Opie were his true north.  Maybe that's true but I think more they simply could not live without each other.  Tara references their "bond" in the park scene.  She believed it would save them and in a way it did.  He owned up to his responsibilities and set Tara free.  In doing so he showed his love.  But too late as the song says.  Season 7 will bring Jax to a new level of rage and hatred.  Hatred for what happened, hatred for the part he will believe he played and hatred that his life goes on.  I hope he can see the boys as a saving grace but I worry he'll simply see them as better off without him.  Just like in Ireland when he almost allowed Abel to be adopted.  While he always talks about the love or need of family in a way his is gone.  His family - Tara, Opie, Piney and JT.  While mom is still there and he will turn to her like he always does there will be a point when the truth of the pain becomes apparent and then...well then all bets are off.  We can all think we know what will happen or how it will play out.  It's one of the things about this show that keeps me glued.  We never know really.  I hope for Tara's sake he makes his sons a priority.  But as the song goes "my most constant mistake is never knowing what I love till it's gone" Noah Gundersen.

This may be the "only face we see" in season 7.  Angry, dark, sick of the game and ready to take out anyone who should get in the way of his mission.  Not sure what the mission will be.  Avenging Tara? Making sure the MC grows as will his power? Vengence for Juice? Planning a way to take out his mother?  The man's universe has blown up.  There is no one left her turely trusts.  Maybe Chibs...maybe Bobby but will he be able to look at all of them with the same eyes?  Jax hasn't just suffered the loss of his wife.  He's lost his soul mate.  The part of his soul that knew the life would kill him, threaten his family, suck what good was left out of him.  He knew this.  He spoke about this to Tara frequently.  I worry about the kids.  Will he draw them in tightly...as tightly as he did when trying to keep them from Tara? or will it simply be too difficult to even look at them.  Especially Thomas...their Thomas.  He loves Abel I know.  But Thomas bears parts of Tara.  I don't know...Sutter is kicking up quite the twitter storm about the new episodes, as is Paris Barclay.  They both are gifted when it comes to whipping up a frenze in the fans.  Not this year I tell myself.  I'm not getting drawn in...I just want to see the end unfold.  What will become of our boys?
