Approaching a direct shipper/customer
Hey fella's,
Ive done this lots before, just looking to see other ideas that work for future reference. How do you go about approaching a new lead once you've found their info? Do you call, send an email, arrange a meeting in person, or just show up on their doorstep and make your pitch? Explain your steps so that others can see how this is done, this could help alot of guys who are actually serious about running a business here.

Are there any Paid/Company Hired CDL Training Programs in Philadelphia/New Jersey region
I am looking to make a transition in Truck driving but I do not have the full means to pay for Truck driving school. There are so many CDL Training Programs but I cannot afford to leave the Tri-state PA/NJ/De area.
Does anybody know any companies that hire and pay for you to get your CDL in this region.

2019 Cascadia front speaker, how to remove?
Has anyone popped the grill covering the door speakers on a 2019 Cascadia? I'd like to install aftermarket pieces.
My radio has the full Sirius xm package, so that stays. I'll be adding a minidsp 2x4 dsp and a powered Klipsch sub to fill in the bottom end.

Importing a used semi truck from canada
Hi, i am looking for an advise on importing a used semi tractor from canada. I am buying it from my close friend. So it won't be through dealer. I wonder if i have to pay excise duty on the border, if yes then how much it would be for a commercial tractor?
Also FET (federal excise tax). Will i have to pay F.E.T on current price i will buy it for or the original price of truck ? Thanks

What/Who is best Insurance company?
I dont know if i am posting in the correct area, but I am getting close to my renewal for insurance. I do not want to work with progressive as they are expensive as heck, Can anyone recommend a broker or an insurance company that they like? I am looking for at least an A rating.

Help please. Ice from trailer cracked a car windshield.
Today a car came speeding up flicking me off trying to get me to pull over. Their windshield was cracked. Nothing major thank god. I didn’t see it happen but I have no reason to think he’s lying.
so I stopped at the next rest stop and we talked. We exchanged info but I didn’t get his number. Wish I had.
My dispatcher told me to file a claim for when their insurance calls and now I’m kind of freaking out. Is this going on my MVR as an accident?

Please please I need help in CDL school
I’m 3 days in. Today I was ready to explode after performing well the beginning of the day and tanking at the end. I also feel like everyone expects me to be better than I am by now since it’s a small class size. I need help or just understanding on a few topics if anyone at all wants to chime in.

For Hopper Bottom Drivers
Has any of you hauled & unloaded loose cotton hulls? This is what they are wanting me to unload tomorrow & Iwant to know how bad it is going to be. This place is in Ohio & I have hauled peanut hulls to this place from the Carolina's before & it sucked!!! The PH pack in there like concrete. It has taken me over 4 hours before to unload. Poking it from the bottom, poking it from the top, closing the doors driving around the parking lot hitting bumps.

Heater Issues
I'm willing to bet that somebody here has dealt with this exact issue. Here's your clues:
No hot air blowing from front vents, but bunk vents are working properly.
Coolant level good.
A/C is working throughout truck.
Front blower and mode selection knobs are all doing what they should.
Middle knob, (the hot/cold one), does not change temperature, just stays at ambient air temp.
Now before we start calling out blend door actuators, please specify which one of the 3 you suspect; the one...
