Dear trans and non-binary folk who want to change their name. It is perfectly okay to name yourself after someone you admire. Parents do it all the time; they name their kids after friends, family, celebrities etc. You can absolutely do the same! You aren’t faking anything and whatever you choose, your new name will be beautiful.
