All tangled up on the ladder of love!
But if Buster Keaton keeps it up he may get down far enough to make his lips collide enjoyably with Sybil Sealey's [Seely]. As a matter of fact, he succeeded (in the movies), and Buster claims it was worth the trouble.
The ladder, you see, is a queer contraption, with pulleys and ropes and wires and everything. Is there a man who wouldn't climb it for Sybil?

Does anyone else find Buster Keaton really cute? Or am I the weirdest guy in my film studies class?

Did Buster Keaton ever had a beard/moustache/ something like that?
Buster primarily went with a clean-shaven face. There are two where he has a mustache and I have one where you can see a bit of a shadow (I know I have others but I'm in the middle of organizing my photos right now and that's a bit more difficult to locate) There are also of course all of the fake ones..

So he was sitting between a dog and a kid, whoever he is. Was he being punished?

Buster Keaton seated next to Lassie, who arguably had a more comfortable seat, at the MGM 25th anniversary luncheon, 1949.

If you're chosen to portray Buster in that new biopic, get it right.

@nitrateglow I started to keep a log of all the TCM films I've seen, which number close to 1200. I absolutely LOVE this channel. This is where I found Buster, too. It was that documentary, A Hard Act To Follow. It was love at first sight.💞
you know what's crazy. i've watched almost 650 films on tcm. and when i say almost 650 films i'm not talking about a film i've watched on the channel multiple times. i'm talking six hundred and fifty individual films.
