I love Nagito Komaeda so much I’m not afraid to admit it. He’s so iconic and so gorgeous to me. I wanted to draw him just existing as a more realistic amputee n practice the features with his face im goin for. Like he’s effeminate yes but still masc and broad and tall

also I get that it’s danganronpa so you can fudge the technology a little but the magical perfect replacement prosthetic trope has always bothered me a bit. Like Fuyuhiko doesn’t get a replacement robo eye, whys Nagito gotta have The Arm??? I like seeing him get around just fine without one :]

while my discussion of chihiros gender is always 100% doylist because i consider any attempt at an analysis of her from a watsonian perspective inherently bad faith and therefore not a sincere attempt to meet me and my viewpoint on the same level, from a watsonian perspective you gotta admit that girl is 100% trans she just has SO much internalised transphobia, like the argument "she never wanted to be a girl" is such nonsense she clearly found some comfort in feminine presentation because she decided to lean into being THE THING SHE WAS BEING BULLIED FOR instead of avoiding it like a normal person, so obviously she on some level felt safer as a woman, just because she had this warped and internally misogynistic idea that being feminine is weak doesn't mean her happy ending would include her being masculine, her best ending would be to find acceptance for that part of herself, and no Matt if you think she's trans or a crossdresser if you think she would be happier if she was masculine you don't understand chihiro
