How do you make images transparent?
Trying to keep this loose to work with most art programs, I mostly use sai but this should work with pretty much any software that lets you use layers. Pixlr is a free app that should work.
Open the image you want to make transparent
Make a new layer above the image and use something like the pen tool to trace around the part you want to separate
Use the magic wand tool to select the area outside of the image you want to keep
Go back to the original layer, and delete the selected parts
Delete the second layer
Save the image as a transparent png, depending on the program you may need to hide the default white background or check a box to make it save with transparency
Hope this is helpful, feel free to ask if anything is unclear. 🌻

@perse-phona Honestly I just searched “1983 bully-figuren“ from the outside of the stickers which lead to some astrosniks figures.
It’s one of the reasons I try to include as accurate a date as possible and the company name on my posts, in case people want to see if they can find the stickers for sale

Could you try and find where these two stickers are from? If you can't that's fine :)
These are Astrosniks! A series of toys made by Bullyland, and probably best known for being part of a mcdonalds happy meal promotion.

do you upload your stuff to the internet archive?
I don't, it didn't really occur to me that that's something the archive would take.
