People will attack you when you expose the demon that is manipulating them because that demon has become so entwined with that person’s identity that they can’t help but feel personally attacked, when all you are hoping to accomplish is to set them free from the bondage the demon has them living under.
If you are going to operate in spiritual warfare, get ready for rejection and accusation!
The Old Testament prophets were always rejected and killed. The apostles of the early church were rejected and killed. Jesus was rejected and killed.
This is why the prayers of the prophet must always start with, “Search MY heart, oh God, that there be nothing unclean in me.” - Psalm 139:23,24
If you do not start by first submitting your heart to God and allowing Him to purge the uncleanliness, you will leave yourself exposed to attacks, and the accusations will have a place to land and harm.
God is guaranteed to give unpopular assignments to those who are submitted to Him.

One of the greatest lies of our age, and one that has seriously undermined the influence of the church and power of the Christians, is that believers should not be involved in business or politics.
This fallacy has been detrimental from two separate flanks.
First, this flawed belief has caused Christians to self-isolate from the rest of the world because they have been fooled into thinking holiness is avoiding that which isn’t godly, rather than understanding and believing that they are meant to affect the world around them.
Second, it has removed the opportunity for God to influence the businesses and governments through believers because those that follow Him have foolishly run from the two arenas that impact the world in the greatest way.
The saddest part is that those who have rejected business and government have somehow overlooked the actual text of scriptures!
Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Moses, Ruth, David, Solomon, Daniel, Esther, Peter, Paul and even Jesus all exemplified business and/or political savvy in God’s name. They all influenced the world around them in far more ways that just attending church. They were in the marketplace, running businesses, sitting on thrones or standing in front of kings, all in the name of furthering the name of God through government and through business as well as preaching the gospel of God’s love and grace.
It is no wonder the world looks the way it does when the ones who are meant to influence it have either avoided it because of flawed ideologies or cower from it in the name of religion.
It is time for the believers to take their place and to once again influence the world through faith rather than hiding from the world because of self-imposed isolation.
“Go into ALL the world and preach the gospel!”

If you really were nothing and weak, satan wouldn’t waste so much time telling you. He’d just leave you thrown to the side.
The reason he invests his resources into destroying you is because he fears what you could be capable of if you believed who you really are.
You are strong and mighty in the Lord, and your purpose is great!
The question for you is will you believe the lies satan screams in your face?
Or will you believe the truths God whispers into your ear?

The phrase “don’t shoot the messenger” comes from the fact that people would rather hate the one who delivers the warning rather than heed the warning and change their behavior.
The messengers will always be hated and attacked. The question is are there still any messengers who will be obedient and deliver the warning, knowing they will inevitably be hated and attacked for doing so, or are we left with only people-pleasers who will dilute God’s Word to selfishly avoid experiencing any controversy?
There is a reason prophets historically lived in isolation, and that is because the people God assigned them to would drive them away every time they brought a warning, and the same is still true today.
The messengers must choose if they love God’s heart for the people more than their own self-preservation. God needs those ones who will speak His heart no matter how much they will get hated and rejected for it.

I was recently asked if it wasn’t for this walk of faith, serving the church and functioning in ministry, what it is I would want to do with my life.
I scrambled for a couple off-hand answers, but I know the other person knew I didn’t really mean any of them.
The reality is I’ve been committed to this life of ministry and serving God’s heart with my life for over 25 years now. It’s the only thing I have ever truly pursued. Serving God with my life in whatever way that looks has been my only passion since I was 15. I know no other way to live my life. I know no other way to pursue the fulfillment of my purpose. I know no other way to find joy in life than ministering healing to the broken hearts, walking alongside those who were once spiritually dead as they come to life in Christ, and encouraging those God puts in front of me to believe and become everything He created them to be.
My purpose, and the only thing in my life that brings fulfillment to me, is in helping you realize who you are in Christ and getting you to walk it out in freedom and power!
Finding your purpose can be one of the most difficult challenges in your life. I know this, though: nothing will satisfy you more than serving your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and spreading His love into every heart you get the opportunity to minister to in His name!
