That was rather abrupt! But seeing as the second-year appeared completely drenched all the way down to his sneakers, she'd feel bad forcing him to walk for the remainder of their trek.

Her umbrella was large enough to cover both of them, yet she tilted it slightly more over Yosuke for extra coverage. It wouldn't help his condition much, but courtesy always made a huge impression in these instances.

Painted on a Canvas

If your body wasn't made of flesh and bones, your soul would live painted on a canvas, mixed in quick, colorful strokes of pinks and reds, of blues and oranges. Your existence itself is pure art; although you might be ripped at your edges, you're still a masterpiece. Right Over There, Behind the Moon

If your body wasn't made of flesh and bones, your soul wouldn't live on this planet; I think it doesn't suit it. You deserve more, better, you deserve the moon and all the stars and the entire galaxies. Funny how people can spot colorful planets playing hide and seek in the depths of your eyes, such beautiful mirrors, and I don't really blame them if they get lost in them. To someone, I feel like you're hard to reach. You have dreams, ambitions, you're like the humid august wind that dances in a lover's hair. Do you ever spend nights with your nose up, facing the sky? Maybe stargazing? I think it would be comforting knowing your soul would be there, always present, holding hands with falling stars and singing lullabies to the clouds. You're such a dream. If your soul had a color, it would be a glittery purple with blue highlights, and it would smell like peonies.

“Happy White Day, KC-chan!” Teddie brought out his little bag of chocolates so fast that he practically shoved them into her hands. They were star-shaped and filled with way too many star sprinkles. Inside was a little bit of milk chocolate as well but the flavor was overtaken by the white chocolate.

“They’re a Teddie original! What do you think?” He looked towards her with glowing eyes of expectation. After all the time he took to melt all the chocolate he really hoped it came out well.

White Day?

Oh, a Japanese celebrated tradition. Almost an exact mirror copy of the more well-known, widely recognized Valentine's Day. While the first-year hardly received any chocolates or other variations of sweet treats back in February, she expected much of the same result come its twin counterpart. That was until the shining, bright beacon of Junes' very own mascot swept in for a surprise!

The small, clear plastic bag held many star-shaped chocolate delights, but the question begging KC's thoughts concerned whether her body could properly process the confectionary creations. Had she forgot to mention her dietary restrictions prior to Teddie's baking ventures? Gluten wasn't present in most chocolates, however the blonde never shied away from adding little extra surprises in his gifts.

Should she dare take the risk? Looking back at Teddie's innocent, sparkling eyes didn't make the guilt go away any faster. It only made it hurt more.

After slowly untying the ribbon seal, her fingers plucked the smallest one out of the bunch and a moment of brief hesitation led to KC biting a small chunk. Very creamy, with more white chocolate flavor coming through than milk chocolate. And the additional sprinkles gave the treat an extra crunch in her mouth. Safe to say, though, she'd be spared a horrible stomachache later on.

A satisfied hum of pleasure answered his ponderings. A little too sweet for her own palate, but scrumptious nonetheless. Her free hand brushed against her chin, extending outward towards the human-shaped bear. A silent sign meaning 'thank you' for crafting the tasty treats and saving some just for her.
