Day Six & Seven: Why you love Trevor and Happy Birthday Trevor Collins!
Decided to not write another essay for Day 6 since I was worried about repeating points, so here’s a gifset of all the things that I love about Trevor and would like to thank him for!
Happy Birthday @thetrevorc! Hope this one is less daunting than last year’s big 30!
(p/s: thank you to @tonguetiedartist for combining two days into one post for day 3&4 and leading me to the idea for this post)
Trevor Collins Appreciation Week, Day Six: Why You Love Trevor
It would be a really sappy and long post as to why I love Trevor, but I think it boils down to his humor maybe? He just wants to make funney jokes and make people laugh at dumb stuff. Ever since he started appearing more frequently in videos, he turned into my favorite. Even got to the point where I would watch his old channel (back when he uploaded videos often lmao) just to have more content with him!
TL;DR: "seriously, what do you see in that guy?" He makes me laugh.
Trevor Collins Appreciation Week, Day Three & Four: Favorite Non-AH video & AU Day
It was a pleasant surprise seeing Ray and RT peeps in Neck Deep's When You Know music video! And for AU day I did another one of mine, this time The Spongebob Musical AU that I can't link directly :')
HERE IT IS: TREVOR COLLINS APPRECIATION WEEK 2021!
CELEBRATING @thetrevorc FOR THE FIFTH YEAR IN A ROW!
This is quite late as the announcement post usually arrives by November 19th but I didn’t want to miss the five year anniversary of Treycoweek. I don’t however want to bore you with the why so the rules and prompt list will be included below!
The rules are simple and they are:
- Post between December 13th to December 19th (though submissions count until Christmas)
- Include the tags #treycoweek and #trevor collins
The long list of rules can be found on our blog! Anyways, here are the standard prompts list:
I know that seeing the list of blogs I listed you might think I’m doing an overkill in terms of Trevor Collins appreciation. I know I am, but truthfully I could’ve run these better and probably not by myself. But that’s not the point of this mini essay but I’m writing these for all three of these blogs.
The point is that 4 and a half years ago I found this Achievement Hunter editor funny and kind of cute. 3 and a half years ago I dubbed him, Trevor Collins, as my favorite member of Achievement Hunter and I haven’t looked back since.
That first year, at the end of 2017 I decided to do what I can do best: organize an appreciation week, make gifsets of fun little moments that I cherished, moments that were special to me. Now we’re at our fourth year and it’s only been that much more worth it and he’s noticed and acknowledged it too (which I’m still over the moon about!). This annual appreciation has also brought together a community that is so, so wonderful to be a part of and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
There’s so much more I can write about especially about the past year, or well the previous 4 years and stories and a lot of things but Trevor’s been with me whenever I needed a good laugh or to be cheered up. From his On the Spot appearances to the many, many episodes of Ready Set Show, or even just when he throws himself back laughing as hard as he can on camera in Let’s Plays or live action videos, it’s made even my darkest days better.
Trevor Collins have taught me a lot over the years, both literally and figuratively. He’s the first person who taught me how to use Premiere Pro through an editing video posted in late 2015. I used that advice when I first used the application two months ago. Figuratively, he’s taught me to just be kind and try to make people laugh whenever it’s possible. Also to follow my passions and all that nice things. So, yeah it’s a lot but it’s a lot of good things.
I don’t have a proper end note besides a Thank You to @thetrevorc. This essay might not be as small as I expected and it’s all over the place but I’m just gonna say it as genuinely as I can on text, thank you.
