It does, though I get a suspicious feeling that the two of them would've just followed Inupi around bc they dont know the exact date (they're idiots—affectionate—after all) 🤣

and I'd just like to point out that the "adult" who carried Akane out is MOST likely Shinichiro, and not Takemichi like many people are saying. TL of the panels say "adult", so it really cant have been Takemichi or Mikey (who wouldve been kids back then)... So next best option would either be an adult onlooker or firefighter (which i doubt, given the OG timeline events), or Shinichiro, who probably tagged along somehow (maybe because Mikey was sneaking out constantly).

Anyhow, that's just a conjecture of mine. Given the personalites other adult gang member-friends of Shinichiro's (because I get the feeling that they would know Inupi from how often he hangs out at SS Motors), the only other option would probably be Benkei, but the panels are drawn with more hair (or, from my memory, hair the same length as post-meeting-Baji Chifuyu) which closely resembles Shinichiro more. Not to mention, I doubt the others would have any reason to follow Mikey and Takemichi or save Inupi (I don't mean this in a cruel way. Just that Shinichiro is more reckless than the others/his friends), unlike Shinichiro who probably also knows where Inupi lives.

Actually, you know what it does make sense that Mikey and Takemichi succeeded to save Akane and Inupi, since final timeline Takemichi most likely still have his ability to see in the future

Watching a tiktok of a reception/grade 1 teacher explain grammar and how English and spelling works to his students has told me that I would not be able to survive being a teacher for kids. Not because I don't have the patience, or that I don't like kids, but because of how easily I'd lose my mind trying to explain that the letter 'U' has like 20 different sounds depending on the word and what letter its paired with.

And by lose my mind, I mean have an existential crisis. Over English words.

Which inherently isn't a difficult task, because I give myself that crisis every other day anyway.
