I'm planning to kill myself tomorrow, and the main response I've gotten is, "Oh, well I hope you don't but it's your decision and if you do I won't be mad." And I can't help but feel, maybe that's not the best thing to say to someone suicidal. Like don't be mad, sure, but maybe, you know, fight for them a bit. Because it doesn't feel great when people just accept it. Anyway, sorry, I couldn't think of anyone else to say my piece to on that. Take care of yourself and goodbye.

First of all I want to thank you for telling me and for not leaving your thoughts alone and by yourself - but you are reaching out to the wrong people if they’re advising you to decide the outcome, when there are SO many other ways of finding peace, ways that don’t consist of ending your precious life so soon. There are people who think the world of you, you are loved so dearly and we want you to thrive and succeed in life, right here and in this world with us.Unfortunately I too am unfit to professionally help, but I’ve been there before but I’m still standing and I’m telling you now, you bet your ass it’s worth it all to fight for your life. Depression is a sick and manipulative illness, it’s a chemical imbalance in the brain that makes you believe that there’s nothing left to enjoy in this world. It can happen to anyone, and you are currently stuck with tunnel vision, where you mentally narrow down to what seems to be very few options available to you. So here’s what you’re going to do for me.You are going to call [phone] and ask for help. There are Counselors and specialists available to you 24/7 who will give you the proper guidance, options that are personally customized and suitable for your situation to fight for your life and set goals for recovery. Second, I want you to write a list of things that you may have been looking forward to, whether it be a movie coming to theaters, a fresh blanket of snow forecasted for next week, a place you want to visit, etc., put it all on a piece of paper and you are going to keep it somewhere you can look at it all the time. If you can do that for me and report back to me off anon and with this list, I would love to personally order and treat you to a pizza or something you’d enjoy. Fight for those moments, fight for your loved ones, fight for who you are and who you will live on to become. You are strong and you will only become even stronger from here on out.
