Been a while huh! Not much to say, just haven’t had the motivation to come back yet. n the latest games really haven’t... reinvigorated my interest in the series lmao

I started this blog like, right after Swsh came out when my hyperfixation switched to Pokemon, n I knew that interest n drive would fade eventually. Currently I’m ass-deep in FFXIV (catboy gang what up) and I’m devoting most of my time to that lmao. In the middle of Heavensward as of now!

All that being said, I won’t be deleting this blog or anything. Consider it a semi-permanent hiatus. Besides, it’s still fun to go back n see what I’ve written n see conversations I’ve had with y’all - I’ve had a lot of fun running this blog!!

I just found your page and I love it sm uwu hopefully all is well-- I have a Pokemon oc who was originally a professor's assistant, but since has become a traveler so he can conduct research at his own merit. His name is Simon (Sam for short), and he currently resides in Galar. For anyone not keeping up, Trump held a rally earlier today, told his supporters to storm the Capitol building with him, then went to hide in the White House.

Protestors tore through 4 layers of barricades and are fighting cops to get into the Capitol building. A possible bomb was spotted and the Madison and Cannon buildings have been evacuated while a bomb squad was called in. And just now the Capitol has gone into lockdown.

But also Pence issued a statement that he is not doing anything with the electors and McConnell denounced Republican senators’ efforts to stop counting the electoral votes.

And as I was writing this, the protesters breached the Capitol and Pence was pulled from the Senate chamber.

Do you have any headcanons about Milo and running into any of the Grass legendaries/Mythical creatures. (Shaymin, Celebi, Virizion to some extent, mostly Shaymin, the boy reminds me of a human Shaymin)

It's a normal enough scene, seeing a bunch of his Wooloo crowding around something in the field.

Usually they're watching a Blipbug make its way through the grass, or a loose Rookidee feather blow around.

So, Milo's not too fussed when he steps outside that morning. He takes his time tending to the other farm Pokemon and his crops, before finally approaching the Wooloo to see what's caught their interest.

He can't stop the concerned noise that leaves him at the sight of such a small Pokemon curled in on itself in the middle of the Wooloo herd, shivering and covered in dirt, the flowers on its back curled tight into buds.

The Wooloo all trail behind Milo after he picks the Pokemon up, cradling it in his arms and rushing back to his house. Some try to follow him inside, but for the sake of the injured Pokemon, Milo has to keep them out where they won't be in the way.

The Pokemon doesn't seem to be injured - just tired, cold, and hungry. How did it even get to such a state in the middle of his Wooloo field?

After cleaning it up a bit, Milo keeps it wrapped in a blanket in an empty box with some water and Pokefood, while he rushes out to tend to the Wooloo. By the time he returns, the Pokemon's awake, curiously looking around the room.

After some deductive reasoning when it calls out its name, Milo concludes it's a Shaymin. He then realises he doesn’t know what a Shaymin is.

Cue some frantic googling.

He now knows what a Shaymin is but he’s at a complete loss as to how one ended up on his farm, let alone in Galar at all. Did it belong to a trainer and get lost? Surely Shaymin migrations don’t pass through his region.

Either way, Milo figures the best thing to do is to bring the Shaymin to the Pokemon Centre, to double check for any injuries, and to see if it had a trainer ID.

He’s slow to approach the Shaymin, crouching down and holding out a hand for it to sniff. It’s a timid thing, ducking into the blanket before it’s brave enough to lift its head to investigate Milo.

By the time Milo’s sure its comfortable enough for him to pick up and move, the closed buds on its back had blossomed out to their full, beautiful size.

Originally from Freezington in the Crown Tundra.

Her first ever Pokemon was a Snom she caught as a child - it’s the now-Frosmoth she uses in her Gym battles. Her name’s Pickle.

She’s in her mid 40s.

She’s raised all her children by herself as a single mother, despite the large age gaps and being a Gym Leader throughout all their lives.

Gordie’s in his early-mid 20s, her daughter is in her teens, and her youngest sons are around 3.

Her youngest three sons are triplets, and were a complete accident.

MAJOR sweet tooth, but she sucks at baking. She’s partial to dessert crepes and sundaes.

Despite her harsh battling style and her standing as a roadblock for Gym challengers, she’s very sweet and encouraging to young trainers who make it to her Gym.

On the flip side, if some arrogant bitch strolls in thinking they can sweep her, she mops the floor with them all with a smile :)

Her victory over Raihan many years ago is still talked about to this day, given she crushed his team with only two of her Pokemon.

Just thinking about it gives Raihan the shivers.

She and Gordie still aren’t really on speaking terms after their big fight over Gordie not wanting to be an Ice-type trainer, back when he first became a Gym Leader. They’re polite to each other at events and send well wishes after victories, but not much else.

Melony has tried to reach out to offer a proper apology (this was part of her being the first member of Gordie’s official fanclub - the other half is just her being a mum n wanting to embarrass her child whenever possible), though Gordie is still bitter over what happened between them.
