it’s usually pretty quiet at elijah kamski’s abode. the home itself was a vessel of intelligence, a way for androids to feel free without needing the world to examine their every move. all his ST models and his RT model had deviated, for the most part, throughout the past five or so years- once one got ahold of deviancy, it had rippled through the home much to kamski’s delight. the girls, as he usually referred to them, seemed to always be searching through different music. this week’s theme had consisted solely of songs by someone that kamski hadn’t heard in awhile. 

lyrics reverberated off the walls as elijah was dancing with one of the ST models while having a glass of CC in his other hand, sipping on it lightly as they danced around the living room. no one had heard their guest enter, to which kamski looked delightfully embarrassed—- no one ever truly rendered him truly embarrassed or ashamed of his own creations or his own actions because he didn’t necessarily ever have that emotion or sensation course through him. 

      “ i’d apologize, but chloes tend to have the best taste in music, “ he idly commented, moving to let the ST models dance with another model so he could pull his attention back. “ i’d offer to dance with you, but i’m not sure if you’d say yes. “

     Odd no one had answered the door when Hana rang, but she could hear faint music coming from inside the villa if she listened carefully. She tried the door and was surprised it was unlocked. Hana entered cautiously, scared she’d be disturbing the residents if she dared to make a noise.

     The sight in front of her as she entered the room brought a smile to her lips and she stayed in the doorframe for a while, watching the genius dancing with his creation. It was frankly amusing to see him so relaxed and just… having fun. 

     When Elijah spoke out, she walked further into the room, a smile on her lips. “I’d love to, but I can’t when I’m on the clock.” She tapped her badge hooked on her belt with a soft chuckle. Hana loved to dance and it’s been a while since she last when out to have fun, she must admit. 

     “I  got the result of the security breach.” She held a large envelope to the former CEO. “Figured you’d like to take a look at it.”

it was pretty typical to have dpd come to his home now. the villa had been almost completely taken over by random visits, but this time it was something elijah was genuinely interested in finding out. “ perhaps come back later then? “ he suggested, only to pause. it sounds like he’s trying to kick hana out but it’s actually and truly the exact opposite moment. 

“ thank you detective, “ he commented, taking the folder to immediately look over everything. cyberlife, now that he’d taken over again, had become something he didn’t want it to be-- and there were a lot of people who now thought the worst of him for all the wrong reasons. so trying to take down a trillion dollar company was no easy feat, but even the smallest security breach would cause for alarm. “ i’ll forward this to the security teams, unless they already have a copy of their own. “ elijah realizes that the music is still very much blasting, to which he asks one of the ST models to turn down the music. a quick ‘of course, elijah’ is returned to the man before he continues looking through the paperwork that she had brought him. 

    “ i don’t believe i’ve ever seen a detective truly be on their best behavior. i’ve heard many a rumor about some of your detectives going out and drinking while on call, so i expected a casual dance to not entirely be limiting. i apologize and respect you for upholding the standard, detective dawkins. “
