[dusts off blog] Hello, hello! I have just completed my course today! My muse for R.eno has been largely silent (though he has been lurking) and the rampant non-rp blogs following and interacting has been grating on my nerves even while not here.

Chances are I’ll remake this blog when my muse returns (and I’ll be looking to keep as much as possible) In the meantime, I’ve been chilling over at @tartabinger with C.hilde, a G.enshin I.mpact muse who is very similar to R.eno - I’m even considering creating a F.F7 verse for him as well (trying to avoid making him a Turk but it makes too much sense and nnnnnnnnn)

Semi-hiatus/very low activity announcement

As uni is starting to pick up, my already weak presence here will be limited even further. You can expect me to pop up here and there in an attempt to get through some more of what I owe but otherwise, this change in status will remain in effect until my final deadline: 31st May 2021. During this time, I will go through all interactions in my spare time and decided what to drop and what to keep - if I drop something of ours that you were enjoying, do get back in contact with me and I can try to pick it up again. If that doesn’t work, we can always try a new angle on it.

I do intend to fully return here upon completion of my course, however part of me is thinking that taking a break from Reno might help replenish the creative juices and the will to write. As such, I have caved and started making a blog for C.hilde/T.artaglia from G.enshin - both these muses are similar. I want to keep this muse quieter than this blog for the sake of my energy and sanity so hit me up if you’d like to give the boy a follow.

SO I’m currently settled at the hotel before I go home on the ferry tomorrow and I was thinking to myself while on the train. I don’t often do new year’s resolutions but my one for 2021 is to be more honest with myself. With this in mind I plan to go through my drafts and drop threads I don’t feel muse for (which will be difficult, because I’ll have an inkling of muse but no desire to write) and delete some asks in order to lessen my load.

There is also a huge amount of doubt I will be highly active until my course finishes as I have busy months ahead of myself. My final deadline is the 31st of May so I will have this blog on a semi-hiatus/very low activity status until then. I’ll check new followers out as soon as possible and mutuals are more than welcome to have my discord - either ask for it or drop me yours. One of the perks of adding me there is getting to see what I’m up to on occasion. 👀

But yeah, TL;DR: Blog is going on semi-hiatus/very low activity until my final deadline at the end of May and interactions I don’t have muse for are being dropped. Mutuals should add me on Discord

Been arting for most of today (RIP my fingers) so I’m gonna try my hand at a little Genshin - catch me on Discord or via IMs

Meanwhile, I read a bit of Snow’s fic (if you want me to link it or tag you or whatever, just let me know) and it got me thinking about how Reno would react when scared/flinching - sharp, barely noticeable flinch/lean back, fast breath in through the nose causing nostrils to flare, lips pursed, and slightly more rigid stance than usual. This would obviously be a big difference from rookie times or when he was a kid.

Also, I downloaded a small pose reference sheet and all I can think of is Reno and Rude so expect that after 2 weeks.

During game awards, we learned I break when it comes to my son (and a friend and I learned we both have the same husband so we're sharing him - he is now a bisexual icon)

I also might be thinking "Screw my sanity" because I'm tempted to just say INFINITE THREADS LET'S GOOOOO but we'll see

Imagine

Reno is always the last one to fall asleep and the first one to wake up so he sees a lot of people when they sleep but no-one sees him properly sleep. So just think, those moments when he's sleepy or drowsy, and someone witnesses how soft Reno is when he really sleeps: all the tension drained from his body, his soft snoring, and the other person gently petting his hair.

Me? Being mostly missing for days because I'm actually doing uni work this semester? It's more likely than you think

I've been working away at all my modules for this semester and have not at all been adhering to the schedule I made for myself because I hate schedules. I do pretty much have a break the week I go home so I'll try to queue some things up then AND I plan to send out those holiday asks the weekend coming.

I'll be making another post shortly after this one but I hope everyone's doing at least okay!
