New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Aries (Apr. 8, 2024) 🌑♈️🐏
Major healing and soul evolution energy is with us during this new moon/solar eclipse in Aries. We may feel like we are turning a page or starting a new chapter in our journey of healing and growth. There is a strong focus on becoming stronger in who we truly are and what we truly want — and allowing that to determine the future we choose to create for ourselves. There is an ongoing understanding unfolding regarding these themes. Deeper layers continue to be uncovered.
There is a lot of Aries and Pisces energy going on simultaneously, which can feel a bit uncomfortable or frustrating. The Aries energy wants to charge ahead into the new beginning, but the Pisces energy is slowing us down and requiring us to fully and consciously release the past before we can move forward. The strong Pisces energy is also requiring us to surrender our will to Divine/Higher will. We are being pushed to come into alignment with the desires of our higher self rather than our ego — to ensure that the future we create is in alignment with the truth of our higher self.

Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Libra ♎️⚖️ (Mar. 25, 2024)
There is a huge releasing, letting go, and moving on theme with this full moon lunar eclipse, especially in our relationships: we’re being pushed to leave behind codependency, unhealthy relationship patterns, and possibly even some relationships altogether.
Even though it’s occurring in the sign of Libra, Pisces energy pretty much rules this eclipse (as the rulers of both the Moon and the Sun are in the sign of Pisces). This amplifies the themes of release, endings, and surrender even more.
The good news is there are plenty of lovely, helpful aspects that are supporting us in this letting go process. This energy probably isn’t anything new for most of us, but it’s reaching a culmination of some kind. We have learned a lot leading up to this eclipse. We have clarity about what from our past needs to be left behind.
And while there is a strong need to move away from certain relationships/dynamics, at the same time there are positive new relationship-related developments that we’re meant to move towards. This makes the letting go easier because there is the feeling that we are moving towards something better.
There is healing and growth taking place not only in our relationships with others, but in our relationship with ourselves and our sense of self-worth. Everything is pushing us to develop a healthy and strong sense of self, from which we can relate to others.
There is a gentle and creative energy to this eclipse as well. It may be time to just take a break and relax.

Astrological Correspondences to the Wheel of the Year: Spring Equinox, Aries & Taurus
Tumblr media
I love to explore the fascinating correlations between astrology and the eight seasons of the wheel of the year. In the Celtic tradition (which my practice is based on), tremendous importance is placed on the honoring of polarities (light and dark, masculine and feminine). With that in mind, I find it beautiful and fitting that each season of the wheel encompasses both a feminine and masculine astrological sign:
Samhain: Scorpio (feminine) & Sagittarius (masculine)
Winter Solstice: Capricorn (feminine) & Aquarius (masculine)
Imbolc: Aquarius (masculine) & Pisces (feminine)
Spring Equinox: Aries (masculine) & Taurus (feminine)
Beltaine: Taurus (feminine) & Gemini (masculine)
Summer Solstice: Cancer (feminine) & Leo (masculine)
Lughnasa: Leo (masculine) & Virgo (feminine)
Autumn Equinox: Libra (masculine) & Scorpio (feminine)
The two equinoxes (spring and autumn) are times of equal day and night; the feminine and masculine energies are equal in strength. The Spring Equinox corresponds with the sun moving into the masculine sign of Aries. This sign represents the masculine energy of the equinox, which will be strengthening day by day as we move into the masculine/light-dominated half of the year. Taurus, a feminine sign, represents the feminine energy of the equinox, which will be dwindling day by day.
Both the Spring Equinox and the sign of Aries, the first sign of the zodiac, are all about new beginnings. New life is springing up all around at this time of year. Aries energy reminds us to celebrate the new, as well as to honor and welcome the Divine Masculine energy now arising. As the wheel turns from the dark half of the year towards the light half, we are invited to embrace change and the cycles of life. Being a future-oriented sign that is all about moving forward, Aries energy thrives on change and can help us embrace it.
The last week and a half or so of Spring Equinox season overlaps with Taurus season. This may not be much time, but the two share plenty of themes in common. At the Spring Equinox, we celebrate the returning fertility of the earth; I view Taurus as the earthiest earth sign of them all. Taurus is the sign most strongly associated with the beauty and bounty of mother nature, which is finally emerging after a long winter.
Being a time of equal light and dark, balance and duality are central Spring Equinox themes. Correspondingly, Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of balance and harmony. The Spring Equinox emphasizes the importance of honoring the duality of our earthly, human experience (which Taurus beautifully symbolizes), while also expanding beyond duality to connect with the oneness that underlies all.
Manifestation occurs through honoring and working with polarity – in other words, creative tension. Aries, Taurus, and the Spring Equinox all have to do with creation and manifestation. Spring Equinox season is also about strengthening our commitment to our goals and moving slowly and steadily into outward action – which is the only kind of action there is for Taurus energy :)

Spring Equinox Themes:
*Celebration of returning fertility and growth: new life is springing up within us and around us
*Balance and integration: equal feminine/masculine, dark/light
*Honoring and working with polarities/opposites in order for creation and manifestation to occur:
Our desires and our fears
Our light and our shadow
Our inner masculine and feminine energies – how both are needed to bring any creation into form
*Honoring the duality of our human experience, but also moving beyond duality and into the Oneness of our Infinite Self:
The Infinity sign and the sacredness of the number 3: the two poles + the Oneness that underlies them; embracing the changes and cycles of life
*The Divine Masculine strengthening:
Strengthen our commitment to our intentions, move slowly into outward action
Time to embody our masculine energy a bit more but still lead with our feminine – remember that the feminine half of the year doesn’t give way to the masculine half until Bealtaine (May 1st)

New Moon in Pisces (Mar. 10, 2024)
There is a very creative and intuitive energy to this new moon and moon cycle for us to make the most of. On top of this being a new moon in creative, intuitive Pisces, the Sun and Moon are in a tight sextile with visionary Uranus, as well as a wide conjunction with Pisces’ ruling planet, Neptune. Our intuition is especially strong at this time. Breakthroughs, a-ha moments, sudden insights, and creative inspirations are likely to strike. Pay close attention!
The theme of surrender will continue to be a strong one during this new moon and moon cycle as well. We are being pushed to let go of control, our past, detrimental behavioral patterns or relationships, and anything we are overly attached to. This is uncomfortable and may be bringing up pain, even grief. But it is necessary for our growth.
Mars (in Aquarius) continues to tightly square Uranus (in Taurus) during this new moon, which signifies an erratic, unpredictable, and possibly explosive energy. Surprising or even shocking events may occur leading up to/around this time. It will be extra important to think before acting, as angry outbursts and accidents can be more likely. On top of that, Mercury enters fiery Aries the same day as the new moon, making it all the more important to think before we speak, as impulsive, blunt, or angry words are more likely to spill out.
As Chiron continues to be tightly conjunct the North Node in Aries, healing themes surrounding our self-identity continue to be strong as well. The Universe is pushing us to break free from anything that keeps us from stepping fully into our authenticity and power.
The best use of this energy is to focus as much as possible on the creative inspirations and intuitive insights that arise. In order to receive these messages clearly, we will need to remain as centered and present as possible. Don’t get too swept up in the commotion.
This energy will be with us not only on the new moon, but for the entirety of this moon cycle (until the next new moon/solar eclipse on April 8th), especially up until the full moon/lunar eclipse on March 25th. Since this energy technically kicks off eclipse season, its importance is magnified – so, again, pay close attention to whatever comes up at this time!

Sun, Mercury & Saturn Conjunction in Pisces (Feb. 28, 2024) ♓️
On February 28th, 2024, the Sun, Mercury, and Saturn join together at 9 degrees of Pisces. A spotlight is being shined on the important soul lessons we are currently working through. We are being called to fully recognize and own whatever these lessons are, and to take them seriously. What we need to let go of or surrender is becoming clear to us as well.
We are also being pushed towards spiritual commitment and self-discipline, particularly the disciplining of our minds. Many of us will feel pulled to deepen our commitment to meditation and mindfulness practices that help us stay connected to the present moment (rather than lost in our minds).
In addition, our attention may be drawn to how we can bring our dreams into form. What are the practical steps we need to take in order to make our dreams a reality? Though this energy may feel heavy (possibly even depressing) or like a harsh reality check for some, it has great potential to be used for our benefit. ❤️

Full moon in Cancer (Dec. 26, 2023)
It's interesting that the day after Christmas -- when many of us will have spent/be spending time with our families -- we have a full moon in Cancer -- the sign most associated with the family.
For many of us, issues surrounding our past or families of origin will come front and center in a way we can't deny. This is a gift because it allows us to clearly acknowledge what it is we need to release and/or heal.

Astrological Correspondences to the Wheel of the Year: The Winter Solstice, Capricorn & Aquarius
Tumblr media
I love to explore the fascinating correlations between astrology and the eight seasons of the wheel of the year. In the Celtic tradition (which my practice is based on), tremendous importance is placed on the honoring of polarities (light and dark, masculine and feminine). With that in mind, I find it beautiful and fitting that each season of the wheel encompasses both a feminine and masculine astrological sign:
Samhain: Scorpio (feminine) & Sagittarius (masculine)
Winter Solstice: Capricorn (feminine) & Aquarius (masculine)
Imbolc: Aquarius (masculine) & Pisces (feminine)
Spring Equinox: Aries (masculine) & Taurus (feminine)
Beltaine: Taurus (feminine) & Gemini (masculine)
Summer Solstice: Cancer (feminine) & Leo (masculine)
Lughnasa: Leo (masculine) & Virgo (feminine)
Autumn Equinox: Libra (masculine) & Scorpio (feminine)
We are now in the Winter Solstice season, which lasts until Imbolc (February 1st). This time-frame encompasses all of Capricorn season and the beginning of Aquarius season. The Winter Solstice is the longest night of the year. This peak of darkness can be related to the dense heaviness that is associated with Capricorn and its ruling planet, Saturn. But after the solstice, the days gradually become longer and longer.
This ascent can also be associated with Capricorn; slow and steady, step by step, we climb the mountain of Capricorn towards the light. The energies of the Winter Solstice and the sign of Capricorn both call for us to slow down.
The sun spends the last week and a half or so of this season in the sign of Aquarius. This sign and its ruling planet, Uranus, are associated with the light of consciousness, illumination, and the new – which are all Winter Solstice themes as well. To me, this astrological energy is a beautiful representation of the returning light that we celebrate on the Winter Solstice.
A new spark of life emerges and makes itself clearer to us slowly as time goes on. When the sun enters Aquarius towards the end of January, we may begin to feel a rising sense of clarity.
