a fan account for wwdits (both the 2014 film and the 2019 series) by a 22 year old agender person :) I'm also @gl00myharvester on tiktok where I make a lot of wwdits memes, and the same on ao3 where I have written wwdits fanfic
i hope guillermo wishes the djin to reverse the all the fucked up things nandor did to marwa and then they take turns stabbing him and then they run off 2gether and live joined by their "our ex fucking SUCKS" bond and deny nandor everytime he crawls back
Idk if this is an unpopular opinion or not but as much as i love Nandor for the lovable idiot that he is, i do hope that he grows out of this phase and starts taking responsibility for his actions bc he keeps hurting ppl with his decisions, not just Guillermo but Marwa as well and i'm getting kinda sick of it tbh
i mean nandor changing marwa’s body to make her “perfect” and making her like all the things he likes was super fucked, but the thing that made it okay was that it felt like it was building towards, “Nandor gets some character development and realises what he’s doing is Wrong and makes Marwa herself again.” Every single theory I’ve seen for what Nandor uses his three final wishes for included, “wishes Marwa back to normal” because… sure the vampires are terrible people but they do kind of need to remain likeable as characters?? And the fandom loved Marwa so much and we really thought there’d be some kind of justice for her in the end. We really thought she’d get to call out Nandor for the way he’s treated her, and Nandor would be sad that she doesn’t actually love him, and we could carry on loving the pathetic little meow meow of a vampire because he’d lose. When he just destroys people the audience cares about with no consequences… that’s not a poor little meow meow that’s just an asshole.
And the consequences nandor actually gets are realising he did A Bad Thing to guillermo?? which, sure, but he tortured marwa and wiped her from existence. In the end, he gets to decide that “she seems happier” as Freddie, as if he did a good thing for her? Maybe I’m wrong and this isn’t the end of Marwa’s plotline, I hope I’m wrong, but right now it feels like the writers just wanted to get rid of the love triangle and have Nandor hurt Guillermo so they can have a finale about Nandor and Guillermo dealing with the consequences of that, and where there relationship goes from here, and I feel like I don’t even care about that anymore because what about Marwa?
that episode just sucked. like it just really, really sucked. jesus christ.
that fact the laszlos "nYEW YAWHK CITAAæy" thing is SO deliberate is everything to me. motherfucker has to inhale 17 litres of oxygen into his lungs to do it but by god he will do it.
Was anyone else super worried for the goth mansion for a moment there? Like I knew on a rational level that they wouldn't ruin it but just thinking about them turning it into a minimalist open plan monstrosity was pure psychological horror to me
