Hey remember in Breaking Dawn part 2 when Jacob said all the attraction he was feeling for Bella and her need to be around him was ALL because of Renesmee and the imprint? And when he asks Bella if she feels anything she says it's long gone?

At what point does the imprint take place? We saw the big moment where Jacob drops to his knees after the birth. That's when it was like sealed. But the like ✨vibes✨ were there while Bella was pregnant.

Does that mean ALL of Jacob's feelings for Bella and vice versa were because of the imprint? Like he was attracted to her egg that would become Renesmee way back in New Moon? Or was it only after conception? Or is it after he began shifting?

If we're going by Smeyer's destiny and the imprint is fate BS then like, which is it? Was the sandbox love Jacob had for Bella when they were kids also part of it? Would he have even cared about Bella otherwise?

Not sure if you've heard, but the employees at Powell's City of Books in Portland are sharing a petition to get Powell's to pay them fairly.

Seems pretty pathetic that an establishment that is considered iconic, a destination for so many visitors, won't treat their employees as a valuable part of that reputation.

Anyway, I'm sure it'd do nothing but help their cause if could give them some support?

ATTENTION BOOK AND UNION LOVERS!!!!

Powell's Books workers in Portland Oregon will be going on strike. Powell's prides itself on being the largest "independent" book store in the US and being "like a family".

For the entire YEAR the Powell's corporation has refused to meet Union needs and denied every contract proposal. For about 6 months Powell's Workers have been working without a contract because of this. There have been several COVID confirmed cases at Powell's Burnside location as well and there is NO COVID relief pay or PTO for exposure or close contact.

I personally know several workers who have been treated horribly for months if not YEARS by the corporation. They do not care about their workers.

They Hadn’t Known

That’s what they tell themselves over and over again. That didn’t know it would happen. Alice hasn’t even seen it. One second everything is as usual, they’d been in a new town for a year and everything went well. They aren’t masquerading as teenagers. They’re all college students -even Esme and Carlisle- and living in the same house. This way they could stay around longer without anyone worrying about why they weren’t aging. 

The next, she’s dead.

It’s something so simple, so stupidly human, it comes at them with such shock. 

Renesmee is dead. 

She had been driving home from the grocery store. She did all the shopping for herself and Jacob since the others had long forgotten what food was good. It was such a mundane and boring task on just another Wednesday afternoon. Everything should had been find. 

A four car and semi pile up takes her away from them. One car ran a red light, taking out a mini van that swung directly into into her driver side door. It had pinned her and she was unable to even think before a semi truck was in her path. The driver didn’t have enough time to stop. The force shattered her crystal like bones and tore through what they had once thought was impervious skin. 

They had never tested out how tough her skin actually was. No one could bring themselves to harm her nor did she want to find out herself. They had all assumed she was likely as indestructible as Jacob. She was, though they would never find out. But not even Jacob Black could live through a car wreck of this magnitude. 

When Bella had picked up the phone, she didn’t expect to hear from the sheriff’s department. She didn’t expect to hear a car registered to her current false name had been in an accident. She didn’t expect to hear the drive- her “sister”- had not survived. 

The phone crumbled in her fist.
