For career guidance we can look at a few things in our birth chart like, 2nd, 6th and 10th houses and the MC(important), the placement of 10th house ruler, planets placed in all above mentioned houses, the degree of MC, to an extent North node can help too, sun is our basic self and ego so it can tell how you would be at work and all the aspects to these placements.

Other than these we can look at our MC persona chart, asteroid industria, talent, enterprise.

These are all that I can think of right now, I'll add more when they come to my mind.
