So… after never being able to pull any of Rook's birthday cards successfully…
Tumblr media
He came home within my first 10 pull.
Tumblr media
Then last year's card followed after 34 individual pulls on the banner.
Tumblr media
And then I ran out after 45 pulls on his first card banner.
Tumblr media
Can someone please tell me how this idiot manages to make me fall for him over and over again?

"Ruggie! Wanna come to the park with me? :D I hear there's some ice cream being given away and I need an extra pair of hands to help me pilfer as many as I can!"
𝓡𝓾𝓰𝓰𝓲𝓮 𝓑𝓾𝓬𝓬𝓱𝓲:
At the mention of some kind of food being given away for free, Ruggie's ears twitched as he perked up before turning his head to face you.
"Really?"
His face brightened up, he was pretty much beaming now.
"Lessgo!"
Before you had any time to react, your wrist was being grabbed in order to effectively drag you off, any school work or duties Ruggie might have had abandoned and rescheduled to be taken care of later.
Depending on how much the two of you would be able to get your paws on, you tried suggesting bringing some for the others of the dorm as well but that would be decided on later.

I was initially trying for Riddle's Tsumcard and got so spooked when I saw the SSR coffin but instead it ended up being Dorm Idia.
Oh well, I take it without complaining.

Hey tsunotaro, what's it like living so long?
𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓾𝓼 𝓓𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓲𝓪:
The crown prince of the Valley of Thorns tore his gaze away from the gargoyles he was inspecting on his daily evening walk away from loud and clingy guards and parental figures to fixate his sharp eyes on the child of man that recently joined his strolls. Due to his age, Malleus thought that there wasn't anything that could surprise him anymore at this point. He was certainly proven wrong when you posed that question. He never questioned something that just came so naturally to him.
He was sure you didn't mean any harm with asking a question like this but it still baffled him how curious and willing to learn humans were, considering their short life span and the potential uselessness of wisdom gained. Not that he was offended in the first place.
Malleus almost didn't realise how he was smiling as he carefully thought of the words to put together into a hopefully satisfying answer for you.
Only to come up with nothing very special or interesting. To him at least.
"Child of man, you managed to catch me off guard." He chuckled and tilted his head a little in fondness. "How does it feel to live so long... Considering that from where I am from, fae tend to get old enough to forget their age or date of birth even. A long life might sound desirable to some but often is considered a curse to those who are bestowed with a life span greater than the majority of creatures surrounding them. Experiencing a loved one's growth, bloom and wilt multiple times over and over again is bound to drive long living creatures insane, desperate and hollow as their feelings run dry over the centuries."
Malleus didn't know yet on which side of the spectrum he would find himself, as he has been isolated and confined for the majority of his life and didn't have the chance to bond and interact with many outside of the castle he had resided in.
"Though it is fascinating to experience the change of seasons ever again, hear of new inventions other creatures bring to life and feel the pulse of time passing."
Time sure was flying... but Malleus would still be there to witness whatever wonders humans would create in the future.

Hello fledglings,
I hope everyone is having a good time spending the holidays with family, friends or peacefully alone, treating themselves and taking care.
Yesterday [the 26th] was my birthday and unlike last year, I've spent it with a friend who was so kind and spoiled me a bit, cooking an amazing dinner for me, watching Studio Ghibli movies and talking a lot.
Even though we still deal with a pandemic I hope that everyone was able to enjoy the last few days and will enjoy the next few days until the new year starts being safe and responsible.
I am a [mostly] happy seagull.

MALLEUS! I'm glad I found you! I wanted to give you an invitation to my birthday! I'd absolutely love for you to come! I have to work during the day so we'd be hanging out in the evening. I was thinking of having cake, junk food, and watching movies! Would you like to join me? And of course you can bring Lillia, Silver, and Sebek if they want to come too.
𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓮𝓾𝓼 𝓓𝓻𝓪𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓲𝓪:
As usual, the crown prince of the Valley of Thorns was wandering around aimlessly, enjoying the peace and quietness he gained from this intentional solitude.
There was no nagging from Lilia, no worried and overly worried Silver and no loud Sebek bickering with poor Silver.
All he needed was space, freedom and time to himself to clear his head from whatever it was that stressed him out or irritated him, find inner peace and reach a fully relaxed, almost enlightened state.
It was comforting, even though it never lasted for too long.
But for now his gaze was lingering on whatever gargoyles he could spot on his goalless stroll, taking in their features, admiring the fine craftmansship of the person who created the ornaments and pondering about how much it must have seen throughout the time since it has been erected.
That was until he could hear someone call out for him.
Malleus stilled and turned to see you approach him with clear excitement and glee on your face.
His sharp eyes could spot you holding something in your hand, an envelope if he wasn't wrong.
Usually he wouldn't have cared too much about the matters of humans.
That was if they bored him.
You on the other hand were one of the very few and rare specimen to pique his interest, managed to amuse and surprise him repeatedly.
Indeed, the fae enjoyed your presence, deeming it enriching and educating.
"Good day, child of man. No need to be in such a hurry, I have no intentions on fleeing from you upon sight."
If it would have been any of his self-proclaimed bodyguards or Lilia, Malleus would have vanished into thin air within the blink of an eye but… you posed no danger, weren't any threat and most importantly, you treated him as an equal, despite the inequality of your social standings.
This was again proven to him by the fact that you seemed to have actively seeked him out to hand-deliver to him an invitation to join you in birthday activities.
Now, birthdays weren't as special to fae as they were to humans but Malleus did also know that the human lifespan was nothing but mere a fragment of the lifespan to his kind.
Considering that he wouldn't need to put an immediate end to his peaceful strolling, Malleus would have plenty of time to come up with a present worthy of the friendship of yours which Malleus so dearly treasured.
He graciously received the letter of invitation, glanced at it from all sides before pocketing it, making sure he wouldn't lose it.
"I shall join you for the festivities later and wish you a very happy birthday. May this day be smiled upon and blessed by the Holy Seven and bring you nothing but joy."

I screenrecorded the rhythm game in case anyone wants to see what everyone is doing without getting anxious about not paying attention to the game itself. Anyone else being like that or just me?
The little interactions betweem them all, the ghosts flying around, Floyd, Ruggie, Jack and Trey enjoying their food, Silver coming in a little late with shouting "Happy Halloween" and Rook and Riddle telling him it's all fine.
Also, Silver saying "I won't be falling asleep for that" not exact translation but something of similar context and then doing the guts pose is so cute.

If you are doing interactions right now if not ignore this:
"Hey, Riddle! I have been reading this book and it's about [Insert some very dark and mature themes and maybe some topics others may not find interesting because it's a bit too morbid]. Anyways, I thought I'd get you a copy. Think it may encourage you to think about something other than rules."
𝓡𝓲𝓭𝓭𝓵𝓮 𝓡𝓸𝓼𝓮𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓼:
At first he didn't quite catch what the topic was exactly about. You approached him so suddenly and talked so enthusiasticly about this book you were holding, describing what it was about and whatnot, it was a little overwhelming in the first few seconds.
At the same time he didn't want to stop you.
The way you smiled and the brightness and energy you were radiating didn't seem like something he has the right to ruin. Your interest and will to share it with him was to be appreciated and cherished since Riddle wasn't sure how much longer he would be able to enjoy such small moments of carelessness and joy before he would confide himself back into the strict binds and heavy chains of his mother's absolute control and seemingly perfect cookie cutter style of life that she has seemingly already laid out for Riddle.
Even if the topic of the book wasn't quite his taste from what he could catch, he wouldn't deny a present from an acquaintance or a friend if it was to share joy and was backed with good intentions.
Until now he hasn't uttered a single word. Only as he reached out and accepted this present of yours with a nod of appreciation, he offered you a small smile before replying.
"If I manage to find a moment of rest and freedom I will read into it. I'll get back to you about it then. Thank you."
