hi sorry to be a bother but i've done anything i can think of to find both of fo(u)r's endings and so far i've only found one. i've read the readme and everything but i cannot for the life of me find where the path diverges. idk if i'm missing anything or i'm just simply stupid

Sure! I'll put it under the cut...

It depends on if you answer all of Draco's (the man in black) main questions properly! You get to get the first one (whether you know Prancer) off, but the rest are far more precarious and even getting one wrong can put you towards the most common end. All you really need is to answer the last one honestly, and for the one before that you do need to have played Two Days first to get the clue.

You'll know the difference depending on if Draco tells you his name and is polite or not, and then you just proceed normally! Both endings are fairly similar, but that's how you get them to diverge.

I’d love to try Disco Elysium sometime, but man... whether I pirated it or not, it needs TWENTY whole GIGABYTES of space!!  For comparison’s sake, EVERY SINGLE official Silent Hill game-- ALL of them (not counting I guess the HD collection or whatever the pachinko thing was)-- is about 27 GB on their own.  I get that most people apparently have supercomputers these days, but 20 gigs is just kind of absurd for one PC game even if it’s a big open world one, and I feel more than a little unconsidered... there had to be SOMEthing that could’ve been optimized more...

I loooove so much about the whole concept of modern retro-style games but I could go on and on for ages about how much potential and variety devs are missing out on trying... and what they fail at as well, to the point where tons of “PS1 style” games instead now just look like “itch.io indie 3D style” to me... old games had SO MUCH variety and ohh it ITCHES me to see people keep reusing the same ideas over and over even when those ideas are good ones, because even then there’s stuff they leave out...!

#anti-aliased text is one of the most obvious giveaways for breaking the PS1 immerison but it's Subtle #1st person on non-shooters is a HUGE one. like PS1 huh?? trying playing your game without analog sticks or the mouse real quick #GUH... huh, when I think about it, OFF fangames like CAKE (a few seconds long) and Peril (basically just one cutscene) are probably shorter than Two Days... BUT Two Days actually has a puzzle and fail state, thus making it probably the shortest OFF fangame with technical “gameplay” there is until someone makes an even shorter one

Please help us not go homeless.

We feel incredibly bad making a post just as we reblogged a donations post from a friend, but our mother just arrived home telling us that she had to pay 300 euros for the car to get fixed and we are left with around 100 euros for the entirety of this month, our rent is essentially 600 euros at the end of every month if we include electricity and while we have food and other essentials at home right now, those are sure to dwindle very quickly as we already have little stuff available. Our mother is still currently the only one working and earning money, we still haven’t had the chance to get a job of our own because we are currently recovering from some health issues, we need to have our ID card updated, and we need a work phone because our UK phone doesn’t accept our new Portuguese SIM card, but money keeps being tight enough that working out these issues takes time, we really, desperately need help, we don’t want to be homeless in the Winter when it’s more often than not freezing and raining and we don’t want to return to our mom’s last partner that is extremely abusive and manipulative. 800 euros is absolutely needed at the very least so we can keep staying here AND have some bare minimum food + essentials to last us for the month, but we seriously need all the help we can get, please. Head’s up to others who use the “Shinigami Eyes” extension!

At this time (Oct 13, 2022), Shinigami Eyes DOES NOT WORK on tumblr blogs that are “dashboard view only”!  It doesn’t even let you flag blogs that are only viewable in dashboard either, and will only give you an error message if you try.

There are already lots of TERFs and radfems taking advantage of this hole in the extension’s functionality.  Hopefully the devs for it will patch this issue soon, but until then, take a second glance at reblog-comments that have suspicious urls and listen close for the usual dogwhistles; it’s still all too easy for a transphobe’s remarks to go viral when passed around on otherwise decent posts.

​No problem!  I’ve got a love/hate relationship with 2010s tumblr because fandom, earnestness, and engagement were still going very strong, but the discourse was just so RANCID wasn’t it!  Sooooo many supposedly-smart/compassionate people deciding to pointlessly bully and joke on marginalized people who should have been their comrades, and only stopping (without ever apologizing or admitting to have changed) once it’s cool to pick on someone else instead.  Insane.  I miss the activity and passion of 2010s tumblr but I sure as hell don’t miss the batshit fandom and LGBT+ discourse.
