Home/school life: Dani moved from Seattle to Bullworth when she was 14 with her father and younger sister, Katana, after their parents divorce. Their mother still sends them money, in fact she invests heavily in Bullworth Academy because she wants the best for her daughters. She makes a lot of money but wouldn’t let her daughters stay because she had ‘noticed a pattern.’ “All of my spawn end up becoming deadbeat scum and it’s all because of your bastard of a dad.” She was of course referring to Dani’s older brother, Ivan, who is currently in jail for armed robbery and how Dani herself who was already going down the wrong path. Dani had to live with her father but she didn’t because she idolized him, which was pretty bad because her dad was a criminal in his past, he’s cleaned up his act since Dani was born, while her dad tries his best to raise his daughters he is still very emotionally detached and sometimes verbally abusive to them.

When she first arrived at Bullworth Academy she was young and impressionable and soon learned that she shouldn’t be, by the end of sophomore year she had completely thrown all thoughts of authority out the window. By Dani’s junior year she stopped wearing her uniform all together and began skipping classes, she didn’t care about repercussions for her actions because she knew her mother was a huge supporter of the academy and thus wouldn’t get in too much trouble because of her moms large donations. Of course she’s gotten into trouble, has been suspended a few times but has never had the threat of being expelled.

While she skips class occasionally, Dani’s grades are fine, mostly C’s and a few B’s. She spends most of her time hanging out around town or in the theater room, drama is her passion and she willing throws herself into the world theatrics, in fact the drama club is where she met her best friend and ex boyfriend Trent Northwick, they started dating the beginning of junior year but broke up months later due to them both being overly ambitious and full of themselves thinking that a relationship with one another would distract them but they’re still best friends.

Personality: Being at Bullworth has given Dani a newfound appreciation for the seemingly chill, laidback people in her life. All of the drama and fighting has taken it’s toll on her so she finds it best to stay out of everyone’s way unless it directly effects her which, let’s be honest, anything that happens at Bullworth directly effects everybody. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t friendly with anybody, she’s easily excited about things she likes and could talk for hours about any subject she deemed worthy to. She like to keep a eye out for people she likes or considers a good friend, she’d raise hell over somebody she considered close enough which doesn’t happen often, Dani doesn’t like confrontation but will fight if she’s pushed to. Dani is almost always tired, she’s an insomniac and can’t help it, she likes to take walks around campus or town just to think and get away from everything. She also has a crippling caffeine addiction which is being supported by the money her mother sends almost weekly. If in a bad mood she may pick fights to blow off steam, on her worst days she’ll try to challenge anybody that looks at her. On her best days she’s fighting people off for the nerds. She tries to keep a cool guy act up but she’s really a big crybaby behind closed doors, her father’s verbal abuse gets to her sometimes and it makes her sob crocodile tears.

Relations

Clique: Dani prefers to remain clique-less but finds herself hanging out with the bullies, greasers and non-clique kids the most, her relationships with most people are fine.

Nerds: On good ground with them, sees no reason to bother them, they’re already the lowest on the high school totem pole so why make it worse for them. She’ll defend some of the younger ones though.

Preps: Hates ‘em, cannot stand them, she’d rather set her lungs on fire then breathe the same air as those wannabe posh cunts

Townies: Knows a few but doesn’t care enough to seek them out when in town, those are the days where she just wants to do her own thing.

Jocks: Eh, she plays baseball with a few, she thinks some of them get a bad rep but she’s never been a good judge of character.

Jimmy: Her and Jimmy are fine, not close but definitely “friends.” they’ve fought a few times, when Jimmy first arrived they had a few fist fights but usually started out of each other’s way. In chapter 2 the quest “That fuckin’ Bastard!” can be done, Dani meets with Jimmy outside of the gymnasium asking him for help getting something very personal back from the roof of the gym building, the next night they break in and climb the roof to get her beloved teddy bear, Jakie, that Derby somehow stolen and got some kids put up there. After that she becomes a romanceable character and starts calling Jimmy “Jimbo” and is friendlier to Jimmy.

Gary: While Dani doesn’t hate him she doesn’t like him either, she thinks he’s a rat and gladly stomps his guts in whenever she can. She tries to avoid him as much as possible.

Pete: They’re chill with each other, if Dani spots somebody messing with him she gets hella protective and kicks their ass but her and Pete are on ‘say hi when they pass by’ base.

Johnny: Eeeh, Dani and Johnny are cool enough, she calls him John sometimes but they don’t hang out often. She does hang out with the rest of the greasers a lot though.

Derby: She and Derby hate each other’s guts, he doesn’t like her because she’s ‘new money scum’ and she despises him became he’s ‘a rich, snobby cousin-fucking dirtbag.’ They really hate each because Derby is everything Dani wants not to be and Derby just doesn’t vibe with her.

Kirby: Kirby and Dani are on and off partners, sometimes they’re dating, sometimes they’re not. It’s mostly because of their schedules and extra curricular activities, theater is her main priority while football is Kirby’s, they completely understand where the other is coming from so they date during fall and winter. They really like one another but Dani can be a thot when they aren’t dating which bothers Kirby but only a little bit.

Russell: Russell was one of Dani’s first friends and they’re still really close, Russell treats her like a little sister and she treats him the a brother, a better brother then her own. When Dani first started school she and Russell had gym together and got along really well, she started calling him “Russ” in their sophomore year and still does.

Trent: Best friends! They’re like stereotypical best friends but without being annoying valley girls. Trent and Dani used to date but decided not to so that they could focus on their careers, they still mean a lot to each other though and would do anything for the other. They can be a little competitive but it’s out of fun when they are, they often steal each other’s things, he’s probably the only person who know her real name, occasionally Dani let’s him call her Monty.
