Out of all of the found family dynamics that were on Tangled, I wish we could’ve seen more of Varian and the girls. I just love all three of them so much, and their interactions in day of the animals just made for some great older brother and little sisters material. So have a couple of doodles of the best siblings.

When they first meet, it’s constant snarking at each other.

“You always sass off to complete strangers, Yellow Jacket?” “Depends on how much they annoy me, Discount Elsa.”

However, Amelie does manage to get Coraline to agree to hangout, albeit begrudgingly.

“Don’t get a big head. It’s not because I like you or anything.”

“Sure…”

And once they do get along, it’s chaos.

They’re a textbook case of a chaotic duo

Oh, and sass. SO. MUCH. SASS.

They started dating once they realised they had feelings for each other.

Unlike Clarissa and Varian, as well as Danica and Wybie, this relationship is very chill with a mix of mischief; perfect for them both!

Coraline has never been one to open herself up to feelings. So the relationship is Amelie being very patient with Coraline until she feels ready to let her emotions do the talking.

Every year on April Fool’s Day, they go around pranking everyone in sight.

It was hilarious at first, until Amelie made the unfortunate mistake of incorporating buttons into one of their pranks and forgot to tell Coraline.

Coraline nearly had a panic attack and Amelie had to calm her down, completely confused but also feeling guilty. 

Clarissa and Danica are quick to agree that they are indeed happy for their respective sisters.

Wybie and Varian are often the unwilling victims of their pranks. Cue the two boys running for their lives the minute they see Amelie and Coraline coming their way.

In the case of nicknames, Amelie calls Coraline “Coral.” In turn, Coraline settles for “Am.” Short and to the point.
