This was such a sad story line. You see what Mike feared the most (Axl killing/hurting Anders) happen, If it hadn’t been for Michele Mike knew that he would have been burying another body, and he would have had to live with the fact that he was the one who brought his brothers together that day. I think that the guilt would have been just as bad on poor Mikkel as it would have been for Axl. Just an accident gone awry. 

It really showed how just a fight can turn deadly, even Ty and Olaf didn’t think anything was wrong, just a God fight, happens all the time and is volatile. But one misplaced piece of ceramic, or wood was all that it took for things to go wrong. I think that it was an important lesson for Axl to learn, that no matter how angry or hurt he is, he can’t just put his hands on someone, he needed to learn that his strength was great enough to cause serious damage, and the show runners foreshadowed this in season 1 when Axl tossed Anders in his flat and hurt his shoulder. But because of this prior event with Anders being a little sore but fine, Axl didn’t think anything of it, it was just him showing him how pissed he was. The acting from these scenes was spectacular.
