one of the most fucked up parts of animorphs is when they all get stranded in the arctic or something and have to constantly morph/demorph so they don't freeze to death. caught in a constant cycle of freezing and exhaustion and hunger and fear. nightmarish. also these kids are like 14

#honestly that's one of the less fucked up parts of animorphs #i have a soft spot for this book tho #35 i think? first one i ever read #i thought it was the kind of series you could just jump into. it was not
