So I'm a little confused on to what's going on with I.R.I.S. and the egos and all that. Would you be willing to give a simplified rundown?

Sure thing!

It pretty much started with @tracobuttons finding the IRIS twitter account and posting about it here (that's how I first heard, anyway). IRIS (the acronym) stands for "Inspiring Research of Impossible Sciences", while also being represented by an icon that looks like an eye with three irises. They also only follow six other accounts– Seán's being one of them.

If you look at the IRIS twitter page and scroll back a bit, there are some… rather cryptic tweets about "science being like magic" and being able to expand into the multiverse and stuff like that. All of it sounds like what a "benevolent" corporation would say prior to their inevitable corrupt downfall– but, that's besides the point for now.

People analyzing the account also found this poster among the page's media–

– and needless to say, it reminded us all of Overnight Watch, which set off some more alarms. (And we later got confirmation that the artist behind this poster is none other than @turquoisemagpie, who was confirmed to be working on ego lore with Seán!)

A while back, they tweeted something about their "upcoming 100-year anniversary", and since then, people have been speculating what this may have to do with the egos. This has only been escalated with IRIS revealing pictures of some of their "greatest inventions and prototypes" in the run-up to that day– the first of which being something called "the Computer's Aid", a bone-conduction implant that apparently increases a person's mental arithmetic skills by 76%.

So far, as far as any canon from Seán's YouTube channel in relation to IRIS, we have nothing concrete. But people have already been running wild with theories– that maybe JJ was IRIS' founder, that the egos were either created or enhanced by IRIS' scientific/magical technology, among others– and if the IRIS twitter page is anything we can go by, big things are coming. We're not sure exactly when, but the buildup has already started.

"The computer's aid" some thoughts:

1. The earliest computers started as basically calculators/algorithm solvers (they helped "compute" them) so the arithmetic part fits this as well

2. Despite major AI advances, our brains are basically still the fastest computer we have (literally AI tries to reach the speed our neurons fire when poblem solving/calculating and still havent done so yet), so "computer's aid" something to supplement our already fast problem solving speed also makes sense. the theory discord I'm in pointed out that some of the first computers were actually people hired to compute too!

3. This is the first of IRIS's earliest prototypes meaning that they have definitely invented a more advanced version of this.

So, what if this is one of the earliest versions of Anti? Going from a a compueter aid thru your head/bones ->a more advanced version of an AI helper-> said ai helper advances too much maybe that it corrupts and creates Anti, taking control over the user?

What the FUCK is IRIS?

Apparently that. “Inspiring Research of Impossible Sciences”

Supposedly the organization has been around for almost a century, leaving a bunch of us to assume this means IRIS was founded by Jameson, due to his time travel powers we’re all pretty sure he has.

Or I’ve just now thought that MAYBE Marvin is also an ageless or eternally youthful magical being like a sorcerer so perhaps HE’S over a century old and founded it. Who knows.

This theory is mainly operating off the idea Jameson is the founder, which spices things up plot-wise a hell of a lot.

One of the biggest questions we have right now is exactly what this theory is asking: What IS IRIS? And there are a handful of things we’ve gotten within the last 24 hours AND from Argentum Inanis that may give us what we need to figure it out. These include:

The Watcher Poster

Their icon

Their icon is a third eye, which we’ve linked to Marvin’s crystal ball and his book.

Leading me to think that if he isn’t the founder, he is without a doubt a member. Which being as Soph is helping Sean out with planning, certainly makes the art she’s created surrounding Marvin and a magic circle group quite interesting now, don’t you think? Are these characters depicted with Marvin the “AIMCs” we should be informing?

Our theory that Marvin is responsible for Chase’s teleportation to the parking garage roof is getting more and more realistic with each hint we get.

I think we could make a case for THIS being the Silver Void, don’t you think?

That aside and sticking the the Chase train of thought, look at what IRIS follows on Twitter:

The Magic Circle UK, research surrounding science and space. And… Chase Bank?

IRIS is watching Chase. Marvin is a member of IRIS. We’re convinced he teleported Chase to that parking garage. MARVIN is watching Chase. Or should I say…

Scrying.

And maybe Marvin isn’t the only one. Previously we thought that Henrik, his last appearance containing the same sound as what we hear in Chase, was also getting teleported somewhere, “assembled like the Avengers” by Marvin. But we don’t see Henrik get teleported, do we?

I think Henrik is ALSO watching Chase. He’s part of IRIS. He’s studying time travel and such. Something IRIS is following on Twitter. And it’d make sense he’s watching Chase, given that he CONFIRMS in KJSE that he saved Chase’s life. Perhaps he was even the one that TOLD Marvin they need to keep an eye on him.

And in my opinion, the thing on his screen looks like an eye. Which we DID point out when this video first got uploaded.

Henrik was watching Chase get teleported, maybe even making sure it all goes right.

No matter what the actual answer is, I am CONVINCED that Marvin, Henrik, and Chase are connected in some way. Especially given observations like this.

Besides, “watching” is what IRIS is apparently also about, given this poster.

“Night Watcher” like “Overnight Watch.” “It could be you,” like it was on December 15th, 2017. Are WE part of IRIS too? After all, if IRIS is a magic organization… We make the “magic” of ego content and stories happen. We effect canon, we make the theories, the headcanons, the fanfics, the content.

And we fuel Anti with attention. We “watch” as it all happens.

That “A” in Watcher is glitchy. A for Anti. There’s another A and an E missing as well. For what? I’m not entirely sure yet.

But some of us have suggested corruption from the inside.

Assuming Jameson founded IRIS…

That could be completely correct.

And now Marvin is in charge of IRIS in Jameson’s place while he’s trapped as Anti’s puppet. A parallel with Chase, who’s in charge of the channel in Jack’s place while he’s in a coma.

And this doesn’t quite fit coherently into this theory, but Jackie may ALSO be associated with IRIS too. Which would tie all 6 egos together in the story. Jameson the founder, Marvin and Henrik members, Jackie a member (or experiment subject?) too, Chase being watched (possibly protected?) by them, and Anti; aware of their existence, hijacking their organization through their founder, maybe even created or released by Marvin them?

With this new shooting Republicans will bring back the “It's violent videogame's fault". How people don't see that this tragedies are Republicans/Trump supporter's fault?

It's their fault if every gun control law doesn't pass, giving pity excuses that it's videogame's fault because they are obsessed with guns.

Outside the United States of America people play videogames too, but shootings are extremely rare because weapons are regulated.

I'm so angry because Republicans are a pain in the a, it's hard they would ever change their minds and this mean that it's very hard America will get it trough Congress (composed my almost 50% by Republicans).

I hope there's another way to finally have a decent gun control law.

Seán is stuck in L.A. while Evelien (who, thankfully tested negative for COVID-19) was forced to return home without him.

This is an incredibly shitty time for the two of them. They’ve been each other’s constant source of support ever since this Worldwide fuck fest started!

So, please! Please don’t flood their respective platforms with “Stay strong!” or any other useless platitudes.

What they need right now is support, love and empathy.

The order of Marvin's vision is:

We see Anti for a second

Marvin holdin something (the sphere?)

Schneeplestein (You're not ready for these scary games)

Marvin and the sphere again and flames with Anti saying "Come on and face the time"

Anti's awakening, Anti is in Chase's backseat, then we see Anti for a second (like Marvin faced him up), then we see Marvin with his cristal ball (like he made a spell). Then we see Schneep, that I think is what connects everything. In that video the same portal Schneep sees on his monitor, while he was working to a way to travel in time before "Say Goodbye", appears in Marvin's cristal ball, but the sounds effects are the same after Chase teleports from the woods to the parking lot.

In "don't make eye contact" there are more references to the portal then any other ego video.

In the very beginning we hear the sound effect of the portal, then a projector (could be a reference to JJ, but notice that he's missing), and while Marvin reads the book plays the "Chase teleport tension music".

Just before the flashback is over we hear Anti say: ”Come on and face the time".

It's not clear if means that Anti provoked Marvin to go and fight him or Marvin actually had a premonition of him becoming evil and face what he become.

Marvin probably is hiding, putting the other egos in a safe place, in case of both possibilities.

Here’s everything I could decipher from Marvin’s book.

All the symbols seem to mean or be used “to [?]”

However I don’t understand it nor know anything about alchemy myself, does anyone here have experience with it?

There seems to be a picture of what seems to be a vial on the left by the “Liquid Void” note.

Marvin is saving Jack

Talking with @lordgayofsalads and @nagrom10714 came out that in one of Marvin's pictures, on one page reads about a Philosopher's Stone stone. I had immediately an idea: I thought about Harry Potter and why "the one who can't be named" wanted that stone so badly.

On Wikipedia says that the stone transform base metals into gold OR SILVER (Argentum Inanis - Empty Silver) and can be used for heal all forms of illnesses and make someone's life longer if swallowed with wine. And is also called the "elixir of life" for rejuvenation and immortality.

Based in this, in my opinion he need a Philosopher's Stone for get silver (maybe for defeat Anti) and bring Jack back using the stone. But also become immortal? 👀
