Bunny is okay, but I feel it falls into two camps of exaggeration: Being overly 'innocent' or being very angsty. Both aren't necessarily problematic, but I feel some charm and nuances are lost when you dive all the way to one side. I have a hard time believing Butters would STILL have the innocence of a child when he's aged up, have no emotional issues and can't defend himself. And no one would you ever convince me that Kenny would only care about Butters [and Karen] and perpetually hates life.

You know how I often point out that a lot of fanfic authors tend to rewrite canon to make Stan look like more of a victim (eg. making Randy physically abusive, Sharon an aloof mother, etc)? A lot of authors also like to rewrite canon to make Kenny look like more of a hero, especially when it involves Karen or Butters. Like, Kevin might be a blank slate character, but is it really necessary for him to do unspeakable things to Karen for the sole purpose of Kenny swooping in and saving the day? Kenny is already Karen's hero without all of that.

And hoo boy, don't get me started on Stenny fics that feature both victim!Stan and hero!Kenny.

Whenever someone starts a Shelly-centric fic that looks promising, they always end up abandoning it. I can't just read my stuff over and over again! Don't be discouraged by a lack of kudos. There is an audience out there.

Shelly should be addressed more, and in a way that's similar to canon. She has lots of potential for angst, she is more troubled than Stan (to the point where she is forgotten by Randy in an episode when Randy is in the court, I don't remember the name.) And it annoys me when she is just portrayed as this one-dimensional bully towards Stan - like, sure, she is very bad towards Stan, but she can also be "kind" to him, she isn't angry all the time. She has lots of potential for fanfic writers, about angst, about her relationship with Stan, with her parents, what she might feel about what happened between her and Skyler, her grief about Larry's death, her friendship with Cartman, etc.

I just find her to be an interesting character with so much potential, but people distort canon (making her as either dependent/"spineless" or a daddy's girl, when it's pretty much obvious that she's neither,) or forget about details - such as, all the above mentioned.

I just love this girl, I need that more people talk about her in a positive sense and acknowledge her character.

For the millionth time, we criticize people who rewrite canon in order to make him a bigger victim (eg. giving the Broflovskis a perfect and idyllic home in Style fics while Randy smacks Stan around). It's fucking annoying.

Fandom stop acting like people worship stan It's getting old ..people aren't required to like your fav more putting his depression and family issues down as not as bad as others just comes off as childish and petty at this point

To be fair, Tolkien and Nichole are an extremely boring couple. But Tolkien doesn't appear in enough fics and there are way too few Nichole and Kychole fanworks.

I have noticed the overabundance of Panderverse art of Kenny compares to the others too. She's also way more sexualized than the others, but that's a post for another day.

I've been noticing some, to say at least, patterns within this fandom regarding some characters. How Tolkien and Nichole are always ignored or just secondary characters in fics, despite Tolkien becoming a more recurrent character and Nichole being one of Kyle's love interests and also the fact that from all the panderverse counterparts of the characters, panderverse Kenny has waaay more fanart than the other panderverse boys.

I think we can all guess the reason of those facts.
