JR Act 52:  Initial Thoughts

Here it is folks – the chapter that fans were waiting for years and years to happen. It was a triumphant moment that was also a bittersweet time for @penicillinshock​ when they made the tough call to drop Junjou Romantica after a five-year run. I have nothing but the deepest of respect for its members and their devotion was my inspiration to write the manga summaries and basically become the JR Wiki’s caretaker after years of neglect. Time for my thoughts!

a: 1) dm teddyscans-discord on tumblr OR email [email protected] to get access to the discord, 2) add teddyscans on snapchat, where the scans will be posted. you have to complete both steps to have access to the scans!

q: wait SNAPCHAT!??!?!?! i don’t have a snapchat and/or i can’t get access to one 😢

a: fear not! dm fishysama#9828 (me) on discord and i will send you a personalized copy of each new chapter! however, it will take longer for you to get this copy, so i would recommend going through snapchat instead (if you can)

a: no. we do not allow any reuploads of our manga anywhere. if you do reupload it, you will be permanently banned. since each copy is personalized, we will be able to tell it was you. this also goes for screenshotting on snapchat! we have a zero tolerance policy for reuploading, so don’t do it <3 we will stop translating junjou! 100% serious :)

Junjou Romatica Act 42.5 (English)

I am currently working on Volume 21 and there was no Act 42.5 on the scanlation sites. A quick Google search led me to @graymalkyn​’s Tumblr where she posted the raws for Act 42.5 in February 2017. I reached out to a long-time friend in another fandom who did a minor in Japanese to translate it for me. Please forgive me for the shoddy typesetting as it’s my first time. Enjoy!

Junjou Romatica Act 44.5 (English)

I am currently working on Volume 22 and there was no Act 44.5 on the English scanlation sites. A quick Google search led me to @ninoochan-scans​ ‘s amazing Spanish JR scanlations site that has some acts that weren’t translated by Penicillin Shock. Thanks to this site, I can translate those acts myself and there won’t be any missing summaries on the JR Wiki. For that I’m very grateful. 

Ninoo-chan’s Act 44.5 scans in Spanish: (x). Translation was achieved by Google Translate and the typesetting is by me. There were some weird sentences so if Spanish speakers see that I did something wrong let me know so I can fix it.
