Is anti black racism also big in Malta?
In my opinion it's not the skin colour that's bothering them. It's the fact that they're foreigners or illegal immigrants who keep buying Maltese passports and working there

I wish words could describe how much I love the song "Xemx". The love pouring out of it, the time it took for him to write this gorgeous song about his wife just excuse me I'm going to cry in the corner

In the Maltese islands you cannot grow crops in roundabouts and central strips. However, there have been cases of people trying to grow potatoes, tomatoes, and even weed in the roundabouts

Il-Kantilena
Tumblr media
Il-Kantilena is the oldest known literary text in the Maltese language. It dates from the 15th century (no later than 1485, the death of its author, and probably from the 1470s) but was not found until 1966 or 1968. The poem was written by Pietru Caxaro.
Although written in Maltese, in Latin script, it was a very early Maltese that had not yet been influenced much by Italian or English, and is thus an example of historic Maltese.

Remnant of the War - Victory Kitchen sign - Valletta
This sign is all that remains of what remains of a World War 2 Victory kitchen in Valletta. The building is now a retail outlet.
